The iPhone 8 design is 4 years old, and like the other bro said, probably the last one of it’s kind. So if you appreciate Touch ID and the Home button, then yeah, worth getting if you get an awesome deal on it!

If you don’t yet have a data plan then buying from a telco makes sense, but before you sign a two year contract with the telco it’s worth considering the overall cost of ownership and more importantly the telco’s coverage in your area. If not, you can try scouting online platforms for some good deals on the 8+, since there is rarely any promotion on it offered by retail stores.
