QUOTE(SabunDettol @ Dec 17 2017, 09:42 AM) when you turn on The GRAB app. it will show you are using GRAB GPS and you using waze will show position by waze GPS. now if you turn on GRAB app and after receive job ping select destination it will using GRAB GPS. if you turn on waze before turn on GRAB app it will use waze GPS to position. This is GRAB new feature. This post has been edited by calphang: Dec 17 2017, 12:00 PM |

Anthony Lim 22/12/2017 New system to replace Public Service Vehicle (PSV) license next year – level field for Uber, Grab and taxis The government says a new system to replace the public service vehicle (PSV) license will be introduced. Set to regulate and enable fair competition between Uber, Grab and taxis, this is expected to be finalised as early as January next year, Berita Harian reports. The move follows amendments made to the Land Public Transport Act 2010 and the Commercial Vehicles Licensing Board Act 1987 to regulate ride-hailing services such as Uber and GrabCar, which were tabled and passed by the Dewan Rakyat in July, minister in the prime minister’s department Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri said. The amendments to the rules of licensing procedures covering ride-hailing and regular taxi services are being discussed by the land public transport commission (SPAD) and the road transport department (JPJ). The amendments will not have would not have to be tabled again in parliament, but just gazetted after negotiations with the ministry of transport are completed, she said. “As soon as the amendments are complete, there will be no difference in Uber, Grab and taxis, and they can compete to provide public transport service to consumers,” she told the publication. Commenting on the developments, Nancy said Malaysia had its own approach in formulating appropriate policies to regulate Uber and Grab’s services. She added that the government did not want the country’s taxi service industry to drop out of the modernisation cycle which now sees public transport operations relying heavily on smartphone-based applications. She said that while taxi drivers are still valuable public transport providers, they need a shift in operating procedures to keep pace with the current market demand. |

I got a airport drop off from Flora damansara to KLIA2. trip detail show 58.12KM. In the incentive map 50KM to 60KM and 60KM to 70KM didn't show coverage for incentive. I didn't receive incentive and I call up CS payment and incentive officer. The reply is if the incentive area no cover by the map status you are not entitle any incentive even distance more than 50KM show in the trip detail. Pls dun pickup at Flora damansara for airport trip or check and remember the coverage map before confirm.

QUOTE(marmurra @ Jan 3 2018, 04:34 AM) rider call up complain are handle by displainary dept. they wouldn't check with CS dept. or trip record. they no time to check and take action. if you call up to them, they will inform this is SOP by company. This is the different between Crap and Ublur. Ublur take 50:50 for both rider and driver but Crap take 70:30. Ublur will listen and give you a test or statement taken b4 action but Crap will action first before listening. |

QUOTE(AskarPerang @ Jan 3 2018, 01:12 PM) Nope this is not true. I had check with CS many time about the issue. This is what they inform me even in teh tarik session.I did screen capture every day on my rating and show the total count are the same and the rate drop. Those unrated trip will not be taken into account for your DR rating. The last 100 RATED trips count. This post has been edited by calphang: Jan 3 2018, 01:38 PM Attached thumbnail(s) |

QUOTE(yhtan @ Jan 13 2018, 12:45 PM) Now this raining has made a lot driver stop driving at peak hour, causing the surge goes up to 2.5 times, i suspect the surge 2.5 times is the maximum. I got a trip from sogo TA to face suite, distance only 3.5KM fare RM 19.travel time Only min.very high surge. Most of the time the surge stop around 2 times. But still a lot driver will not enter KL city area at friday night. Ytd my friend pick up an rider (Uber) from KLCC to Bukit damansara took 1hr 25 mins to complete with Uber, fare for Uber is RM40+. For Grab, goes until RM37-40 only. Range is about 10km. I do ask him to do review fare and make it RM50+ based on 1.6 surge and longer time. Meaning to say that Grab cap at max RM4+ per km while Uber is much higher. Clearly to say that at this jam hour, no one will accept this job. Imagine taking u 1.5 hrs, net earning for Grab is just RM30+ and it hourly earning net RM20 only. |
