Depend on your way , if drive on P block I think sure need big fare to cover else really not worth

Everyone has different timing, some need fetch kid go school some no need.

6 - 10 am used to have 4 incentives hp, up and mps blocks.

Now only 7 - 9 am with 2 HP blocks and the rest are P block. We all known our AR bullets are limited with limited choice of ignoring pings. Traffic in the morning is not that smooth either depends on where we are.

Perhaps we needs different driving strategy since incentive block has reduced.

Recently pick up a rider from the KLIA terminal after waiting for an hour in landside. Message him via the grabcar app to confirm the pick up gate and he replied Yes. Upon reaching at the KLIA gate, rider no appeared and I called him. He apologied because app has issue and already booked another car. I suggested him to cancel on his side because if I cancel grabcar will still retain 25% of my commission. I though he has get my message and I return back to landside.

But the booking was still no cancel and I made another two more phone calls but the riders did not pick up. 2 minutes later he still messaged me "HOW LONG FOR YOU COME". I get pissed off and called the grabcar office. Luckily the CS was helpful and understanding and agreed to cancel the trip for me. The whole process wasted me half an hour and I can confirm that this is the FAKE BOOKING.

For all your information here, this booking was a GRABPAY booking. If you encountered situation like this, don't be tempted to start the trip without the passage on board. IT IS TRAP. If the rider call up the grabcar office complaining the driver pick up without passager, your driver account will be kantoi liao. The rider can also easily get back their credit card money by complaining to the grabcar office.

Be careful and mindful on fake booking. Cheers. smile.gif

No sure you can read carefully what I am saying there before commenting.

Firstly, I didn't start the trip and it was cancel by the operator. But it does came into my mind. It is a message to all other driver here.

Secondly, I reach klia pick up point and called rider, the rider said he has already get another car and he app has issue. I told him to cancel. Later, when I back to landside, he can message me and ask me how much time needed to pick him up pulak. Can you see contradicting message here?

Yes, it is a Fake booking for sure.

Any driver here register themselves for perkeso? There is one senior rider whom I pick up from PPUM claimed that it was useful for his treatment expense since medical card does not cover everything.

Yesterday ended up in klcc around 4 pm,

DAX 3 times and PAX 2 times. The riders really have problem to put correct pick up point to our life easier.

In between, I am no longer able to remark under" I cancel due to passager behavior". Where else in app I can put my remark for theses cancellation?

paradigm mall pj Starbucks has moved to the new corner previously occupied by G2000. The rider was not not wrong but she shouldn’t assume all drivers know it.

I was fortune to have a Singapore driver as my rider today. Sharing some of his experiences with me today:

I) passagers lost item in the car: driver account will get suspended if no returned and inform grab office within certain time. Even the passagers already contact driver and have made arrangements to return goods soon

Over Malaysia here, only if driver didn’t report the lost and found items plus grab office called but the driver didn’t pick up the call. Then the account temporary suspended.

My Singapore rider told me in Singapore as long as grab office don’t get the message the item has been return within an hour, they will proceed to suspend driver account.

I encountered lost and found item which I only return few days later after I informed grab office. My account was not suspended.

I think this is part of grab counter measurement to get ready for next year new govt regulations.

They foreseen no of grab part time drivers will reduce significantly, so they hope these vacancies to be filled by someone else, i. e. the existing pool of taxi drivers. Of course hopefully more taxi drivers will change their mindset from road hailing to e hailing concept.

rider can’t get normal grab car never mind. At least they sill get the transport which bring them from point A to B.
