For late drop off issues. I kena before and when attending the reeducation class. Trainer said it's impossible to keeps getting "errors connecting server" . If 2_3 Times within a week it's still acceptable. Too Frequent then we better change our device.

What I always do when receive incorrect ping location is call up rider to rebook . Tell them to rebook with correct location. GRAB VERY STRICT TO FOLLOW THE PICK UP POINT. OTHERWISE THEIR ACC MIGHT BE BANNED!!
Free AR for me. Haha.
This apply for drop off location too. Some idiots just simply put the Taman or Kampung name. I did the same as above..

All pings far distance pick up: at least 8km. Swear never come here again!

After your drop off and Before press online again. Checked From the map inside apps and confirmed the pin moved to your current location. (Sometimes the pin will still stuck in your last pick up location)
I did that and most of the Times next pings won't be that far away pick up.

Looks like for CRAB all their drivers are all quite good d. Doesn't need any more improvement.

The timing we received ping is actually based on the time when riders press BOOK from their APPS.
So let's said rider book at 7.59. System keeps searching for drivers due to first few drivers ignored this ping. Then by the time it reach you, even your hp time at 8am Sharp. It will still count as 7.59 ping.

Do not pick up from any wrongly pin location!
Asked rider to cancel and type manually to rebook instead of auto pin.
I do it all the Times no problem at all. Most important thing is can get free AR.
Whenever they replied cannot get the exact location from apps. I'll told them find the nearest spot available. E.g. 711. Street name. Or building. I'm pretty sure there will be a one that shown on the apps.
And of course we need to write in details via support later on to tell GRAB.

And how's about the rules stating that we cannot pick up or drop off more than 500m of the location in apps?
Otherwise we will be caught gaming.

What if certain rider won't pick up the phone calls from drivers? Because for them it's completely strange number. Some will scared of getting the calls from ah long or whoever they are trying to avoid at all Times

Let me ask you guys:
If passenger pin the wrong location and we still need to call them and clarify their exact location then go pick them up according to GRAB SOP from the video.

IF there's accident happen after we pick up the passenger (at the wrong pick up point).

Will GRAB compensate for the passenger?

My guess is NO!!
