If you do Grab part time can cover your cost of owing a car a bit la. But don't expect it to cover everything.

You will be damn tired man, if always working your full time job then drive Grab without rest.

And hope you don't mind your brand new car kena rape by passengers. Grab got a lot of mapren riders (black people) and manual laborers who will get into your car after a sweaty and muddy day of work. Uber riders are better but maybe you won't earn as much as Grab.

I recommend you get a cover for your seats and get thicker floor mats or those plastic waterproof types. The thicker mats will look less dirty so less rider complains. The plastic types are easier to clean if passenger vomit.

And if got someone refer you to Grab... Share the referral commission la. I think right now is RM80 for Grab. At least get that person to belanja u lol.

actually why not grab just add on an option in passenger booking app while making booking got option to select 'no toll', and it show up while job turns up.

then makes job easier, driver don't like non toll road just don't accept. avoiding all those drama, arguing, even driver slap rider last time old klang road case. or being settled after arguing but getting 1 star in return... what make life difficult.

Nowday to prevent cancellation, i just online after drop passenger. Not worth to risk cancellation if doing full time.

Not sure how grab play with rating. I only drive friday sat n sunday last week.
Before start rating was 4.78 and end of week finished with 4.7.

Today statement came out saying 88% rated me 5 star for last week job. rating drop from 4.78 - 4.70
My fren - 86% fated 5 star but rating go up from 4.83 to 4.89

So i called the CS n ask for explanation - they cant answer me.

I'm jobless and looking for new job atm, by the mean time, thinking about drive full time grab to sustain my life until I able get a new job and switch to part-time onwards. I am from melaka so want to ask any mlk driver,

1, is melaka fulltime grab driver workable to sustain? my expenses around 1.5k per month now. (and new grab driver need give grab 25% instead of old GA 20%)

2, I read lot bad things about DR which affect our incentives, without incentive, just the fare earning is enough to sustain the amount I mentioned? (1.5k)

3, if someone willing to pm me to share his experience as full-time grab driver in melaka,much appreciated.

I know about the fact, unfortunately, I am looking for new job in Mlk at the moment, and I am thinking switch to part-time to continue drive in Melaka weekend after I get a new job. This is why i willing to know is Mlk driver able to sustain their life(1.5k-2k expenses) if work full-time here.(with terror 25% from grab)

What happened to those driver who driving cars that only qualify in Uber but not Grab? Will they able to continue drive under Grab?
