Dunno who so smart last time said in this thread every time the driver app prompted to ask choose which one - GMap or Waze after pressing navigation button was 'very hassled'... Then their staff who read it straight invented for little numbers of them. Both also noobs!

Few years back, I realized this problem when I visited Melaka. 😂😂😂 Not only many traffic lights but the real killer is the unusually long waiting time for each side.

I tried before, accepted unwanted ping (KLIA) during peak hour. 😅😅😅

Why you everything also blamed Grab? This one also Grab kena There's something you can do to prevent it, just like the screen-off issue. Why don't you figure out the solution first instead of putting the blame on others? Instead of thinking how crap Grab is, better stay positive if you decided to drive for Grab, cuz your dissatisfaction on Grab will affect your DR as passengers can sense it... later you complaint DR drops again bla bla bla... and never miss your Uber again, it's GONE...

Go for 3gb at least, snapdragon 625 and above, yours not because of 2gb but the processor below par. Go for mid-range than entry level.

You still haven't solved it??? Go to setting do something instead of bored until sleep zzz...

The driver practised accept then ask passenger to cancel method.

I tried auto-accept so I can confirm that yes, I can still see pick-up and drop off points as usual so that's why I said the driver was telling story to save his AR.

FYI, when auto-accept toggled on, it was accepted within 1 second when the job card pop-up and driver has no chance to see from where to where the moment it was accepted but after that can still check for PuP and DoP as usual by pressing the passenger's name.

Regarding long pick-up distance after offline, not really. Yesterday I was at Setapak but received ping from Gombak LRT; was at Taman Desa received ping from Mid Valley, although I never off b2b, easily 4-8km pick-up distances...

I myself vice versa. After changing strategy from HG only to both HG & Flexi, stress level straight down, as my place easily ignored 8 big fares 2 hours in the morning. Can say 100% AR with tnc or around 90% AR daily.

Same, worst is never seen BOTH, no idea how they looked like???

No need to wait. Completely useless! Especially when notified there were partner service reports but couldn't reveal any info about them yet want their so-called partners improve without knowing what to improve, ridiculous to the max!!! This small thing also takes months to roll out, not to say cancellation fees etc, but you can see how efficient they are when come to those that benefit them.

Hmm... I might be wrong but let's give a simple example:

Distance = 10km (pick-up point to drop off point as shown in job history, system estimated)

Pick-up mins = 5 mins (system estimated)

On trip = 25 mins (eta excluding pick-up mins, system estimated)

Time booster for MP (AA) = RM0.60 per min

Total mins driven = pick-up mins + on trip mins (system estimated)
= 5 + 25 mins
= 30 mins

Time booster = 0.6 x total mins driven
= 0.6 x 30 mins
= RM18

Gross fare = base fare + distance + mins
= RM2 + (0.7 x 10km) + (0.2 x 25 mins)
= RM2 + RM7 + RM5
= RM14

Nett fare = gross fare - 20% commission
= RM14 x 0.8
= RM11.20

Time Booster Bonus = time booster - nett fare
= 18 - 11.2
= RM6.80

Note that rate per min RM0.20 in gross fare was counted towards on trip mins only, not including pick-up mins (correct me if I'm wrong).

Any nett fares less than guaranteed minimum earning (in this case 30 mins RM18) will be entitled for TBB.

Everything is system estimated, not real-time.

DR purely from what passengers rate, and not every passengers rate, only 50-60% will rate, and some rate when they book for next trip (could be the 3rd day after trip, as long as within 72 hours will take effect). Nothing more, don't think so much.

Speaking from a 2-year plus experience driver.

Grab's so-called complimentary drinks at Petronas pit stop is give you paper cup and 3-in-1 nescafe stick asked you bancuh sendiri stuff... as per it's name, crap!
