Hi guys,

I am fan of HDR photography, and was wondering how do u know how much wide to bracket your shots ? E.g. If u see a scene, how to u know weather to set 1/3 EV brakets or 1EV brakets or maybe even 2EV brakets ?

Thanking in advance and Happy ner year !n
*
i pity u bro,,.. well let me tell u what i know. it doesnt have any rule that says how wide u have to bracket.. the greater the diff the more detail u will get in hdr. so in order to get most detail u have to take more pics. rather than 3 try taking 5 or perhaps 7 diff exposures. what the hack u can even take as many as u like actually.. then combine them all together to get an excelent hdr pic. hope that helps u.

Nicely done. I like it. The old photo were taken in 3 different exposure or taken in a single raw mode then edited?

It's taken in single raw mode and then edited. That is how I usually do it. smile.gif

This one is nice too. I like the colour. There isn't any noticeable noise on both of your pictures. Nice..

yes, photomatix.but just make sure before taking the picture, set the ISO to the lowest,80 or 100.in photomatix, make sure there is no halo when you generate the HDR pics.edit the pics in adobe photoshop, use levels and curves.use highlights and shadows too for the pics.

here is my fav of the lot.
