I was wondering does the government has the right to reclaim lease hold housing land which is occupied and havent reach 99 years? If yes, will there be any compensations and how will be the compensations like? Is there anyway for the occupants to bantah the claim?

Leasehold or Freehold or Malay Reserve or whatever, gov still can take the land by using Land Acquisition Act. But they must take the land for public purpose (ya the term 'public' is too general...example. can take land and build MRT and mix development)
compensation is base on the value of the land. You can fight in court, challenge the compensation value and try to get higher compensation...
