what is the different between J1 and J4?

J1 is old one while J4 is the newer packaged formula

you can use either one.

my friend lala dipstick told to use J1 while my lala 2013 told to use J4

at my mechanic in saujana putra offers 500 for J4 while 550 is use J1

he mechanic told me that most old timer that service at his place die die want to use J1 instead of J4, they claimed that J1 is made in japan while J4 is made in Thailand

idk how much of that rumors is true, but since Mitsubishi endorsed the oil then might as well use the J4

it doesnt matter, just go and join the fb group with the most member. More people = More chances of people replying to your question.

I noticed my 1.8mt kinda vibrates (like going to mati enjin) at gear 1..i need to rev it up to at least 2rpm before it returns to normal.

Only recently have this issue...everything still stock except tyres.

Any ideas? =(

I am using J4 oil, already 30k KM and still going ... no issue so far, no overheat no whinning cvt gearbox

Check the electrical wire to the fan.
Many case d the socket melted.

The car feeling and quality really worth the sub 40K price point.

i would say the weakest link for the car is the stupid CVT gearbox.

it simply shit.

if has typical AMT it would be wayyyyy better.

if the FD2 is 40K, i would buy that shit in a heartbeat

fd2 should be btw 47k
