I think the trick to avoid manual clutch pump failure is to regularly flush the brake fluid line, bcos its shared with d clutch asembly. Its a weird design flaw. Anyway stil relatively cheaper than cvt replacement, if kong.

Yup. and flushing doesn't cost much also. After experiencing twice clutch pump failure flushing regularly is cheap.
Someone already developed a custom clutch pump for the car with steel pump for both lower and upper pump. Just need to prepare rm3k for cost.

However there are some so call remap expert out there doing remap which will cause knocking even on a 4B11..

My 1.8MT, sometimes car will shake when start off first gear.
1. When give some gas and lifting clutch a bit, start to roll slow smoothly
2. Then give a little more gas, try to lift clutch higher, can feel the car shake.
Not sure if it is engine rpm drop too much, or the clutch is biting not hard enough causing the problem. Clutch plate was original replaced Dec 2018, slave cylinder just replaced last month.

Any idea causing the shake and what to check?

Yes, I only use first gear to move from standstill. I don't start with 2nd gear.
