guys, was the fake lancer clutch suppose to be like a sponge???

i was totally surprise when i press on it. when i switch back to my blm, i felt like stepping on a farking rock.

the handbrake button sinked into the hole, i think this wasnt normal right?

and the gear stick was a short shifting type??

any sifu can enlighten me on this? thx thx 

understandable, but how do i confirm the milage?
70K milage seems abit low for the year.
People told to me to check the "service record". But i dont actually know what is this "Service Record". is this some bookelet in the car or something that i need to call a service centre to confirm?

What front bumper u using?

I'm using R3 bumper and Eibach spring, even though still got 2 or 3 fingers gap at fender (cuz Eibach spring doesn't lower the car that much), still need to go slow when taking on steeper ramp.

Back when I was on stock springs, certain ramp also need to go slow. So mainly because of R3 front skirting that cause it, not really due to ride height.

If anyone has rattling sound from your front suspension when going on rough roads, it could actually be your brake caliper pins. I changed them and the rattle is gone.

R3 bumper and R3 front skirt got difference? Basically its just the front skirt cuz don't think got any R3 bumper. 

When with stock spring, i knocked the R3 front skirt at parking lot ramp slightly (nothing serious just can hear sound) cuz didn't slow down enough.

It's R3 skirt right. There is no R3 bumper for Inspira.

Ok now I'm 50-50 whether to get R3 springs or not haha

BTW, nice to see got members here using R3 bodykit instead of Lancer / Evo one.

It suddenly become very soft...something changed...
Like i can only feel a little pressure on the clutch once i step all the way down.
I will bring to SC to check tomorrow but just want to be prepared =D

It could be leakage from the seal of the clutch pump. I have this issue in my other car model previously. First I change the seal only, can’t solve it. Then it replace the whole clutch pump, then everything resolve. No more issue.

I think leaking....this 1 how to fix? =(

But anyway i flush the trans and brake oil first...

My car just over 3 years...now ngam ngam 39.5k.....

Been told that it is brake fluid leaking..not the transmission oil...maybe i take to another bangla shop check check ....

Previously my dad 1.8mt service at Petrol workshop & Tayaria, after knowing that tayaria chop 99 because we got charged rm 435 per pcs 205/55/16 PS4 tyre for full tyres change.

After reading some of the post here and google around, we decided to look for better experience workshop with reasonable pricing that allow to bring own parts.

got quote from a workshop, is the price below reasonable? 
1. EO labour -RM 20
2. Mitsu oil filter from workshop -  RM 35
3. brake fluid flush labour- RM 40
4. Fuel filter change labour - RM 80

Can anyone recommend experience workshop & reasonable price around KL/PJ area?

Anyway 1 shop told me abit of leak is "normal" and dunid worry too much about it.

Another shop roughly tell me to change the entire clutch system ~~~~

Best is Proton SC, tell me he can masuk gear = no problem but at that juncture I didn't realize it was actually leaking.

Anyway car still can drive.....in the meantime i guess i'll just watch the brake fluid to see if it drops drastically.

Need your expert opinion on car mod. I am driving a 1.8MT and am thinking of the 2.0 engine transplant.

Reason being I'm actually looking for that extra top end power. Current one maxed out at 205km/h. Will I be benefited from the extra 200cc displacement?

Is it a safe approach for such minimal upgrade? I am trying to avoid the Bolt-On Turbo due to the potential risk of destroying the engine.

Also, do I need to upgrade all other parts (exhaust, wheel/tyre size or etc..) to handle the extra horsepower?

Recently i asked my regular mechanic to flush the brake fluid. But instead of doing it, the fella just casually take some fluid sucking machine and suck out the fluid from the reservoir!    i dun think that way could flush out the dirty fluid, so now i'm ordering some brake fluid to flush it myself. 

then again, if i'm doing that flushing, can i flush both the clutch and brake at the same time? 
hey man! Even thought of doing a ecu reflash first? gain might not be super significant but it might be the power gain you wanted. i would like to find sifu K3nnYkl82 for reflash later

Oh so never drop and open the gearbox yet...

I would change the clutch and slave too. Then peace of mind for at least 30K km.

Will need to drop the Gearbox to change the Clutch Release Bearing leh... its a freaking time consuming process for such a direct fixed.. zzz
