Max 24 person per monorail with plans on designing new monorail which can accomodate close to 50 seats. Guess the masses only know alweg type of monorail. This malacca monorail is steelbox type. Go google sydney monorail.

Actually we can set the monorail to complete the 2.8km track below 10 minutes but considering this monorail is for tourist hence we set it to 8km/h.

Assuming all collections is profit 15ppl x 30min x 12 hours x 365 ~ 1.3M/year Need around 13 years to break even Really good way waste money |

That certainly is a very BIG JOKE ! What was the original purpose of having this MONORAIL ? Do they dare to do POSTMORTEM ? Looking at this ---------- will just reflect on the HIGH SPEED TRAINS from Kuala Lumpur to Singapore . And the other one to East Coast Further the Carey island PORT INFRASTRUCTURE Will all these have the same FATE as the MONORAIL in Melaka in the future ??? |

To be fair, a trishaw ride also costs 10 MYR per 15 minutes. Just that someone may have to sponsor this thing.
