Hi guys

I realise that this might be equally appropriate to be in Travel and Leisure but I figured since this is related to football, I might get more responses here. Hopefully the mods can accommodate with my topic creation here.

Long time no see to most of the older members here, good to see alien2003 still active, not sure if other members like verx, Nostalgia etc are still here or not. Trust everyone is well.

In any case, straight to the point, I am hoping to be able to watch a United match live next season and would love it if I could watch a match at Old Trafford and Spurs at Wembley. I know I got to check fixtures schedules for that...but would appreciate if guidance could be provided on:

1 Where/How to buy legit tickets without being conned
2 How attractive is this package http://www.sunway.travel/pdf/outbound/PL_ManchesterU1718.pdf
3 Do we have local supporter clubs arranging such trips?
4 Any travel packages worth looking at?
5 Mind sharing football centric itineraries if you have been on trips to Old Trafford, Camp Nou, Munich to watch football?

Thanks

I bought my OT ticket ealier this year from Malaysian who works there. He owns a few season tickets (actually he hold a few other malaysian season holder tickets for resell).

Price wise, reasonable compare to those online ticket where it is uncertain you get or not the ticket (most likely you will but there are like 10-20% did not get theirs). Best if you can reserve a ticket at man utd web but need to be a member. Big games need to apply for ballot.

You can get tickets easily at the official websites of Barcelona and Bayern provided they are not big games. Was at Camp Nou last year and getting a pair of tickets just a month before the match was no problem. Against Malaga though.

For EPL matches, I have only ever gone for hospitality tickets provided through business contacts. So can't say much about how to get the normal tickets.

1) for big games, unlikely can get tickets from official chanel (manutd.com)... you may try your luck, register as official member (there is a fee). then u can login and check if the tickets are available, quickly buy them!)
2) i bought a package from viagogo. 2 tickets, RM1900+ (WHICH IS SUPER EXPENSIVE, because originally tickets are below 50pounds each). seats were ok, at the corner but can view whole pitch.
3) not sure
4) can refer to viagogo next year. they shipped the tickets to my Msia address, jus in time before i left to Europe.
5) i can share abit about old trafford:

there is a tram route which drops u direct to old trafford on match day. take that to go to old trafford, but returning from old trafford i think better to just grab a uber, as the queue for tram is super long.. No bags are allowed in the stadium, there is a storage place, but i suggest to jus travel light.

basically the museum n tour is not available on match day, so you will need to go to old trafford twice, matchday and non-matchday for the tour.

book ur old trafford tour in advance, the slots are limited. you can book via manutd.com. be at the stadium 2 hours before the tour, so u can slowly browse the museum (trophies collection , photos etc) and megastore. thumbup.gif

another tip, if you have friends or anyone u know in UK, ask them if they able to get tickets. they can probably get it cheaper.
