Just FYI, Rollerblade is a brand. The skates are called inline skates. ;D

And to elaborate more, you can choose from recreational skates or freestyle skates.

Recre ones are like those from K2, they have more fabric and less support for the ankle, and usually have softer wheels (wear out faster)
Freestyle ones are like those from Seba, they are more hard-wearing, people use them for slides and slalom, and they are hard boot.

Brands like Rollerblade deal mostly with recre skates, but also have freestyle, like the Rollerblade Twisters.
Hope this helps, feel free to ask (:

You can try Inline Culture or Skateline, although I'm not exactly sure which brands they carry.

http://inlineculture.com.sg/RetailLocation.htm
http://skateline.tzin.net/article/view/Ska...s20080324.rails (for Malaysia its http://www.skateline.com.my/store.php)

These two are the more well-known shops, and they're all at East Coast Park (=

FYI: its called inline skates not rollarblade(it ia a brand)

big wheels mostly for speed-> speed skate
if the skates look like a boot-> aggressive(yes the wheels are way way smaller -56mm)

if u reli duno wat u wan thn u better get recreational skates...
skateline event(s) any skate will do as long it is a skate...
