I am not from kl, so if there any way to get the website to display shipping to other areas by default? every ad i have to manually change the location to my place in order to know what is the shipping fee.

tried before posting here... it is the same. all ads still show kl as default delivery address. any other ideas?

I am from EM. So every ad the fee is incorrect, therefore every time i hv to change location in order to find out the exact fee. Some items could be for example costing rm200, but the shipping fee once i change and update it will be rm300...

Now using the app will point to EM by default but not pc.
So I restart pc, and now both will display EM as default.

I bought a kitchen appliance from local malaysian seller but gets charged extra and shopee sent me the picture as their explanation. How come it involves overseas bank? I use local pbb and/or standchart credit card to pay.

Oh i see... so certain banks do while others don't. Guess I'll have to remove one of the cards, cos the extra is a lot when the total amount is big. THANKS!

Hmm... this is not right. I have a dispute item which is pending refund as well. Refund has already been approved just not yet received. If this is not right, then we need to make take this info to authorities.

My return and refund is now completed. I received both payments for product as well as return shipping cost. Why I made the return and refund, cos seller selling something that is not suitable. The product I bought is car accessories item.

But there is no place, no way for me to alert other potential buyers about this seller selling fake item and very bad business etiquette. Bcos in the end, seller still do not admit mistake, although accepted the return and refund bcos I provided indisputable proof. Seller only continues to make claim that it was an installation problem. But the item is like peal and stick, how complex is that? But yet, even under indisputable circumstance, verbally seller don't admit their fault. So seller continues to "get away" with such matters, and in other words, potential buyers continue to get conned since we cannot put rating nor feedback.

Cannot rate... no rate button appear on screen. Something to stick onto the car only. A simple product.

All there is to complaint I have done so with shopee, and surely they protect seller, cos they are selling platform. More sales more bz for shopee. If reviews, ratings are not good, or too honest, it would only make bz diffiult for them. And the downside to this is, it promotes many cheapskate tricks among sellers.

I documented everything clearly. From purchase to receive, to dispute, win case, return and get refund. I want to go to 3rd party like KPDNKK or others more suitable, just not sure the angle which I present my case. No ideas yet. If I simply complaint like the way I did here, I don't think any 3rd party would accept my case.

Thanks for the insight. At least something of different perspective. But in your case, it involves delivery man, who caused all the trouble to both seller and buyer. It is absolutely more complex. Please update when you can. Like to know how it went in the end. Will delivery company foot any of the extra bill? Kinda difficult, right?

will there be a merdeka sale in shopee?

Roughly the same thing happened to me. I got my refund but the issue is Shopee do not allow me to feedback, highlight on product page, that this item I bought does not fit.

For my case, seller did not remove ad. There is no indication of size. Only wrote that this product is for model XXX. But since the problem was the product is too short to be used on my car, so a picture of the whole thing clearly indicates that the item is not suitable. Seller, like yours, dispute saying I did not have the product knowledge and applied it wrong. However, I refuted to Shopee instead to seller, that the picture says it all, 10cm were missing, so no way any camera tricks could really hide that 10cm away. Shopee agreed immediately, approve for me to make return shipment and show proof. Once item is received by seller, shopee refund cost and shipment to me. Whole thing took about 2 week. Partial on negotiation with seller, partial with shopee, then shopee seller and then the courier back to seller.

However, the most dissatisfying about shopee is the fact that I can't highlight this to other buyers. So next person will kena, and good luck to him.

After receive product, I did not immediately rate it fast service or those useless rating.. I wanted to give proper rating AFTER I used the product. But since I discovered the problem during installation, so I continued with the return negotiation with seller and inform shopee. And after return was approved by Shopee, the rating button is no longer there, as if I never purchased the item (in the eyes of the outside world). The purchase and return/refund, can only be viewed in my own account. So... no rating buttons any where to give my 2 cents warning.

I suggest this, find a workable part from a proper shop, do comparison, measurements, whatever you need, to proof clearly there is a difference, and therefore it is impossible to use it on your car...

No stock is annoying. The seller who sells me item I cannot use on my car because the size didn't fit, ... if I phrase it politely, he is lying. But really, he is cheating!! And yet, although shopee allowed/approved of my return/refund, but todate that advertisement by the seller stays the same. Shopee never took initiative to correct the situation, or give warning, ban, etc... So Shopee does not care either. Make commission, that's it...
