hi guys, is it safe to click the "Order Received" button eventhough i have not receive the item yet?

There is 1 seller said need the payment to be released first so that can deliver it.

Is it possible for me to request for refund if i already click order received?

First time Shopee Buyer here

What ? Got such rules must release payment first meh ?

I thought shopee is holding the payment just to protect us, consumers ??

If I were you, I die also won't release unless I receive the item

Yea, that's why i am a bit confused.

The seller said he needs the payment to be cleared so that he can help to buy the item from China which cost less. I guess the seller is like a middle man.

But just wondering whether i can still request for a refund once i have click the order received?

nope you can't. you should complain to shopee.

shopee will not entertain you coz you already press order received. 99% another scam

There is no way for Shopee system to have clickable "Order Received" button appeared if the seller haven't ship out the item.
Unless the seller cheat the system and key in already existing tracking number.

If seller said that, something is cooking on the seller side, and don't do what the seller tell you to do.
You should only click the "Order Received" button after you received your order item in good condition.
Remember also to click "Extend Shopee Guarantee" if need more time.
Even after you extended, if until less than 2 days and you have not received your item, it is time to contact Shopee.

I’m left with only one free shipping voucher. sigh

Does the free shipping voucher from shopee only apply if the whole order from a single store is over RM35?

some shop when include free shipping voucher still get discounted shipping charge
