I planning to get Spigen Armor case and Spigen tempered glass, anyone use them before? What's the experience?

Also, is it better to get tempered glass fully covered the edge or not?

QUOTE(dikae @ Nov 29 2017, 11:33 AM)
something different happened today with my X's battery....I normally do a full charge to 100% and unplug before bed, and when I get up in the morning it'll be 100% (battery stays overnight), but this morning first thing I check it shows 94%, not a bad news but something's just different. what shocked me is the battery drain is x5 faster than usual, just a simple 1 min call took away 1% batt, 3x 1 min calls took away 3%  shocking.gif whatsapp about 3 mins took another 2%..... normally by now my X should have above 90% batt (been this way since day 1 till now), but today as of now, my batt is at 74%..... hmmmm?

the only thing I could think off is the update to latest version of whatsapp/fb messenger/fb/instagram I did yesterday evening.

You can activate your battery saving mode in Settings. Also , close all yours apps when not in used, I believed it's the swipe up on your screen, same as previous iphones. This will prevent drainage of battery. Usually with all new phones, it's recommended to charge for at least 10 hours straight, even it's fully charged before that.

hmm I suspect its the few apps that I have updated yesterday, might have triggered something to drain more battery..
I thought new battery now no longer require 10 hours of charge anymore? since a few years back..
*
That 10 hours charging is still up to debate. I thought newer iphones, especially X claims the battery life is longer than previous iphone models?

Also one tip I learn is only charge your phone when you have to. If your phone is 90%, don't bother charging it . Charge it when it's below 40-50 %. Also when it's fully charged,i.e 100% then you should stop charging. Overcharging will reduce the phone's battery lifespan overtime. That's how I see it to say the least. That's why when you sleep , you charge your phone until morning and you tend to overcharge it since you sleep more than 7 hours. Better to charge it when you are awake.

Seeing some users have issue with green line of death, maybe it's better to wait longer before buying the X haha.

Ladies and Gents, anyone of you on the 64GB iPhone X remember what's the usable storage out of the box?
*
Usually by default it already takes up 4-8GB for the iOS itself. So it's safe to say around 56GB. Still thinking if it's worth to spend more money on 256GB lol. AWHHHHH

if you're not a heavy user it's more den enough. got my X 64gb. i only put apps in it as for music i have ipod.

for heavy use just use my mac.
*
Depends on your definition of heavy user, how much is enough?

I personally just download some apps, not a lot. Music, videos and photos , I am not heavy on them so don't think they tax too much storage. Think is like whatsapp, people keep sending me photos and videos attachment, that will take up space in the long run.

If you can afford it and intend to keep the phone long term, then yes, worth to go 256GB as the average price per GB is lower.
*
The thing is 64GB also can keep long term. My 5s 32GB already last 5 years with few GB left. Of course from time to time need to delete some stuff to free up storage.

Looking at all these comments, so many people want to get wireless charging base. Is it really something worth it? After all you still need to connect the base to a power socket lol.

I never buy the idea of wireless charging before this. As I have the same thoughts as you that we still plugging in cable and wall plug...wireless my foot.

But after trying it for a week plus....I am sold to wireless charging. It is all about convenience where you do not need to look for the hole to cucuk. And just drop and grab it. Especially at night on bed side. After finished scrolling (lights off), you just need to drop the phone on it and you are done. You do not need to find the cable, and try to cucuk the backside in the dark. Worst if you have those cases that have a cover on the backside. And....the chances of scratching your precious surgical grade stainless steel frame around the hole...you know...when you are trying to cucuk it in the dark, you tend to move around your tip to look for the hole right? cool2.gif

Now i feel like investing in wireless charger, just need to buy the base and put phone on top, then it will work right?

But i think wireless charging also depends on the casing of your phone, if case is too big or thick, maybe cannot charge?

Buy with telco plan more worth it.

I already have a monthly plan that's why want to buy without plan. Also telco plan is worth it if you use a lot of data. I don't

Anyone using Spigen tempered glass screen protector? How was it?

I want to buy screen protector but not sure which one is good and doesn't provide bubbles, fingerprints and no cracks. Any suggestion?
