it is a good name change... something that make sense coming out from Proton for a very long time..

Aiya ok ok I kasi translate, in short the word in chinese "pro" follow by "ton" ..... sounds like the word "normal" in chinese (in malay that is "biasa") ...... so if you read it in chinese the meaning sounds like "biasa"ton.

Now they change the word in chinese"pro" to be "bau" ... "bau" means "valuable" in chinese, so it means "harta" in malay ...... jadi skarang dalam mata china the word proton in chinese means "Harta"ton.

The picture was taken at Hua Lian actually, saw a few Gen2 amd Savvy OTR also while I was there.

Didn't see any at Taipei, It's mostly Toyota there.

I was also shocked. That showroom was in the same row as the inn I was staying at. Came out of the inn and saw two Savvy parked out front, walk closer holy shit it's a Proton showroom.

But they also sell kapcai and Subaru in the same showroom.
