bro just pm you for contact. I wanted to do a 2ft X 30ft corridor wood ceiling like the photo below. coated aluminium not so nice some more those supplier quoted me damn expensive.
*
PM Received & Replied. Ya, Aluminium now a day really expensive. Although wood aren't cheap too.

You can use 0.5x2 or 1x3, quite nice also . biggrin.gif

QUOTE(LazyKurosaki @ Dec 23 2017, 11:14 PM)
Bro, do u sell a4 size wood? Square n flat surface? Not for home renovation bt for art and craft
*
Ohh, we dont sell such wood , as this wide is for bigger project, usually min length is 16 feet up. You can join it by using few pieces of 1x3 or 1x4.

something like this, but you can also not to join.

there is 1piece a4 fize. but its usually cut from a bigger piece and cost way much more, since large piece is reserved for more expensive products to build from, so people build them out of thinner strips of 1x4 (22mm x 95mm) and glue them together. much cheaper maybe by half the cost.
*
thumbup.gif Is the glue last longer ?

Bro, will the wood bend over time because of the thickness? because it going to be really long (joint to become 30 feet long)
*
Hi, ya, the chances to bend is high if the thickness are so thin, especially Balau.

It can be avoided by cutting it from a really big log or air dried for a period. biggrin.gif

Then i think not wise to use it as ceiling decoration, if sekali bengkok, habis my plaster ceiling.
*
Nope mate, usually it wont bengkok if you air dried it properly. Bengkok only happen when extreme heat and not properly air dried. biggrin.gif

If join like that wil be loose or nt ? How much is it to join like that up to a4 size?
*
Quite tight actually, but if you pull it out still will loose.

You will need 1 pieces of 3 feet then cut it to join together.

For Chengal, it seldom has B Grade wide table like balau, however, i do have many pieces of grade A (included skin in both left and right) Chengal table top. thick is 3 or 4 inches X 45 inches above, 16 feet, 18 feet, and 20 feet. biggrin.gif

ok for you ?

If I want a 8 seater table top, can you cut to size?
*
We are actually cutting some big log and take the middle few pieces for table top, the size is vary to each log, so we have plenty for you to choose, depend on your preference biggrin.gif

QUOTE(albhong @ Apr 13 2018, 08:10 AM)
HI bro, do you have something for doing shelve, TV shelves, just a straight pieces - one line across around 10-12ft ?
*
Ya, you can come to my factory and choose. The only thing is, it is all raw sawn, you will need a skilled carpenter to make it polished.

As per requested, i have take some photo of the slices here :

The only wood i can source from multiple sawmill in Kuching : Selangan Batu, Durian Burung (Wtf?), Red Meranti and Belian (Borneo Ironwood)

I pow belian saja, but overkill at times. No other nice wood...sad

Haha, there has many name i still never hear before, my apologize for my swallow knowledge on wood.

But i do know Belian, my customer told me before for this species, it actually same as hard as Balau, but lighter. It is a very good feedback wood.
