PM Received & Replied. Ya, Aluminium now a day really expensive. Although wood aren't cheap too.

You can use 0.5x2 or 1x3, quite nice also . biggrin.gif

Bro, do u sell a4 size wood? Square n flat surface? Not for home renovation bt for art and craft
*
Ohh, we dont sell such wood , as this wide is for bigger project, usually min length is 16 feet up. You can join it by using few pieces of 1x3 or 1x4.

something like this, but you can also not to join.

there is 1piece a4 fize. but its usually cut from a bigger piece and cost way much more, since large piece is reserved for more expensive products to build from, so people build them out of thinner strips of 1x4 (22mm x 95mm) and glue them together. much cheaper maybe by half the cost.

Hi, ya, the chances to bend is high if the thickness are so thin, especially Balau.

It can be avoided by cutting it from a really big log or air dried for a period. biggrin.gif

Nope mate, usually it wont bengkok if you air dried it properly. Bengkok only happen when extreme heat and not properly air dried. biggrin.gif

Quite tight actually, but if you pull it out still will loose.

You will need 1 pieces of 3 feet then cut it to join together.
