1. Heat kills battery
2. Drive very short distance " daily ", thus not enough time to recharge
3. Did not maintain the battery water level.

I have seen some guy went till the max of preserving the battery by relocating it to the trunk/spare tyre storage.

Personally....if you had time. get a battery charger kit and do charge it frequently, it should extend its life

not to forget....the total crank you did in a day too.

another possibility is the inferior quality of the battery.
