It doesn't matter what brand, refillable or not, cheap or expensive, all cannot last more than 3 years, changed so many times, what is causing the car battery die so fast?

Those german cars where battery is located in the boot, can last 5-7 yrs I heard.

7 years on the first one that came with the car, the second unit bought outside goin strong still after 4 years. But then again a Delco DIN100 isnt exactly cheap.

U forgot turn light off?

because it was kept charging thus reducing the battery lifespan. it is not like smartphone like you use it when it was not charging.
car should be install with intelligent circuit where it shouldn't be charge the battery all the time when the engine is running, but i guess it will be very expensive/complicated to do so.

Why every parts of the car is improving but left out the pretty important 1? Killing a battery a year or 2 make the car brand bad. And why we cannot use other types of battery like those in the phone, I rather pay more for a much lasting solution than those fail me during critical moments.

well lithium is not cheap and prone to failure as well.
what will happen if you bought a lithium battery for small car that cost more than rm1000 and you get yourself a lemon unit (fail less than 2 years, doubt manufacturer will give you long warranty),at least with lead acid battery, we know that it will lasts less than 2years (if got more than that consider bonus) but paid for it very cheap

battery environment is very hot, now they use so called dry gel, it's the same shit, just that u CANT REFILL IT

I use my Bosch battery can use quite long. So far still good after 5 years.

want last long? get the marine battery/solar battery

well, the price is

my first battery that came with the car lasted 5 years. wet battery though. once a month have to check the water level

but the battery water cheaper than spritzer so no complain

now i use no maintenance the best can last 18 months
