One thing abt CF, they are not consistent with their membership fees and older members are currently paying more than new members, and they don't even bother to inform, unless member highlights it to them

Oh, yeah. Don't know about them moving to JayaOne from SS2, but I figured out that they just charge a higher rate for their One Utama club - You'll see that if you try to sign up for a membership with the JayaOne club instead, I think.

For me, I just go to CF because I work at home, the gym is a short distance away, and I don't have to deal with stuff like parking, for which I understand that Midvalley is a nightmare Might be worth it if I were say, bustling in and out from KL day after day, but I greatly prefer not having to do that

Pretty good! Facilities are good with nice weights, it's pretty easy to get whatever workout you need done, and the trainers are generally quite friendly/chill, and classes take place pretty regularly and there is a schedule. If you've got specific questions, feel free to PM me!

CF & FF has new rates now ; all clubs (both company) is now RM245 (credit card)

previously if you take seperately it'll cost RM300 onwards

my home club is here ; its not "empty" club especially now 1U under reno ; most ppl come here

its pretty empty in morning ~ 9 - 11 am ; but after 5pm its crowded

btw all price has increased ; corporate plan (Premier) used to be only RM144 ; now increased to RM165

better take all clubs rather than one club

Don't know about CF but I think the membership fees for FF is quite reasonable these days especially for Home members. Maybe too much competition out there. I know of a few gym members who sign up in the past 6 months with membership fee around RM120++.

Is the RM120+ membership fee still available?

You can call up the front desk/ consultant to check. If not mistaken emino mentioned around RM200.

200+ is for corporate rate depends on the tier of relationship between your company with FF.

Okay saw the link. With the Platinum you still get the benefit to access other FF clubs overseas. It's good.

From CF website, it only shows that only monthly fee will be charged. Thank you.

Its not just CF but Chi does the same kind of shit. You have to go and negotiate with them, they usually tell you that youre getting the best package, lol.


Fitness First is one of the worst gyms, half their equipment is broken and not at all well maintained. They will just stick machine broken notice up and then forget about ever repairing that one. I only used FF because of their passport function that allowed me to use their branches when I was travelling outside, but never had time to use even when abroad.

What is the normal price now?

CF & FF have merged and now there's a area membership package based on CF & FF gym area eg central, downtown area etc

I have told the gym consultant that I dont want to take area membership, instead I just want to revert back to single club eg CF only. He asked me to pay for additional fee.

After checking with another consultant, actually I don't need to pay since my monthly payment remains the same (unless I downgrade to shorter terms or lower type of membership). Luckily I tarak kena "con" with the consultant and have to pay for additional fee.

Hope the management is aware of this issue. Seems like there is inconsistency due to many types of membership eg area, dual, VIP, star etc.
