Hehe, photography has now become part of healthy lifestyle as it actually keeps us fit!

During my previous event in college, I was the only photographer, I had to run here and there to cover the event.

Added on May 30, 2007, 8:09 pmI would like to ask, would I be able to shoot the Japan GT race cars racing using my kit lens?

What is the technique? What settings to use?

I am going for in on the 24th of June, I got grandstand tickets.
*
yeah bro.. long time didn't meet u huh..

Taking photos for event in our college is difficult if you don't have flash (llike me), but for you now is easier..
next time, try to get another photographer to help you to cover the whole event. It really usefull, you won't miss any moment. thumbup.gif (If you saw me last time, I did that)

Nikon lens has several types : (What I mean here is Nikon brand lens, not tamron, sigma, etc)

G type - no aperture ring. it means this lens only can use in digital SLR, while the lens that has aperture ring can be use in manual SLR.

ED - the quality of the lens glasses is higher, so the image that it produced also will be clearer.

the rest, I don't know yet.
i'm sorry..

does anyone ever try Sigma 24-70mm F2.8? I was thinking of buying it, but I don't know is it good or not.

I wanna sell off my 18-125mm, & get something to cover between 20mm-70mm. (to cover between 10-20mm and 70-300mm)

my choice is sigma 24-70mm F2.8, tamron 28-75mm F2.8 or tokina 28-80mm F2.8. But if I get starting from 28mm then it will be a huge gap between 20mm to 28mm..

hmm.. what you all think?

GOGOGO Andy0625...

there's some vignette at ur first picture..
Did you use both UV & CPL filter? maybe you can only use CPL to avoid vignette. smile.gif

btw my bag is only the free bag from nikon. sad.gif wanna buy another bag that can fit all my lenses, but still confuse which to get..

I just ask him for the price of battery grip and the extra battery.
Bought mine at 4.5k include with Nikon Pro 2gb , SteinZeiser tripod , Nikon Camera bag , Nikon D50 carrying backpack Hoya UV HMC 67mm , then went to their shop to get CPL filter and get my Sandisk SDHC 4gb for extra bucks.  brows.gif  brows.gif

Will get Tamrac Adventure 7 , Battery grip and battery before getting 50mm f1.8d.  sweat.gif
*
I think you better buy 50mm F1.8 first before batt grip, coz its more usefull in producing your pic. But if you have ready cash, just buy both biggrin.gif
but extra battery is a must.. 2 batt is enough, 1 for backup.

vignette means, in the corner of your pic, there's some part that blocked by your filter because you use 2 filters. see that black part? That black part is actually they capture your filter ring.

lol.. then it really looks like vignette to me.. coz it happen to me when I use my 18-125mm at focal length 18mm, using double filters, it always happen. haha.. unless I use focal length 20mm above.. then its gone..

sorry my mistake sweat.gif doh.gif tongue.gif
