OK HERE IS THE OFFICIAL HOW YOU LOAN A PLAYER GUIDE:
-you can only loan a player BEFORE the start of every season.
-each team can have only 1 loaned player in his team but you can loan out as many players as you want to different teams.
-a loaned out player can come back to his original team even in that very same season (during open transfer season of cos) as we never limit the time frame of the loan period.
-so this is different than buying or trading a player. a sold / traded out player can only come back to his previous team only after a skipped season. EXAMPLE: if i sold ibrahimovic in season 6, i can only get him back in the 8 season and not 7 season.
let say i sell ibra at the end of season 6, it will mean i sold him out at season 7 so i can only get him back at season 9.
