better use flashtool flash to global rom , mi forum gt ppl use recovery rom flash say very unstable .

hardware totally same . just global ver come with global rom than u can direct use it . china ver more cheaper but u must do some job to flash global rom to use in malaysia. For ppl dnt know flash rom or lazy better buy global ver

no, only test point mode can use on redmi 5 plus right now . this method only suitable for old model like redmi note 3 or mi 5 .

pls check the rom when received the phone . if is global rom without unlock ,it should be is mod global rom which is many ppl complain gt problem and cant ota update.
