Page 3-7 in owner’s manual noted that to switch off power sliding door (manual operation to be exact) when washing, waxing, or maintaining your vehicle, placing or replacing body cover, or splashing water to the area around the hands-free sensor.[attachmentid=9937919]

What I am saying is that c27 owner should switch off the power door and turn to manual operation whenever sending to car wash. There is a note on user manual on page 3-7 stated to do so. This is to prevent damage to hands-free sensor.

I dont think it has. You can only turn the screen off or mute it.

Juat make sure u are out of the usb mode (i think).
I also have songs/video in usb, but always listen to radio.
When ON the car, radio auto ON...🤣🤣

i tried video player using both usb and miracast.
the mounted external display can only be used when using usb, it doesn't work for miracast.
is this normal?

This is one of the inherent problems you will face with Head Unit.
It has been 3 months already and I dun expect them to upgrade the HU to support Android Auto any time soon.
Others are
1. the clock will gain a few minutes over time
2. Hang
3. Off / On during hybrid operation.

You dun need an email for that cos it was already advertised in the Serena C27 brochure as Android Auto compliance.
What you really need is a committed date for the app to be in your HU.

the date is defined by Android company.. not Clarion. Service has yet to launch in Msia, hence any HU brand distributed by official distributor wont be having this Android Auto available in their product unless u get those from 3rd party which restriction has been bypassed. You may verify my statement with other HU brand official distributor or authorized dealer..

For now Android Auto only can be install on our phone via unofficial way -> APK side load or geo-location playstore.
C27 is a CKD, not CBU
some CBU supported Android Auto as it's imported directly from overseas.  the HU already using the firmware of the origin country that already has the support for Android Auto.
On the side note, the Clarion HU on C27 might not be having problem, but I suspect the "inherent" problem of it auto restarts during engine auto start/off lies with the wiring of the HU to the C27
as there are owner found out the power of the HU are drawn from the wiper instead of the ACC, and according to the simple survey in the C27 owner group, more than half of the C27 owner experience it, me included.
Some owners disable the auto start/off feature, and they may never encounter such issue, so the total number of cases could be higher.
So I can safely categorize it as an "inherent" problem, and TC Nissan need to solve it among other issues as well.

need to go back again, SA said Clarion just send them a set of wire harness that need to be replaced as well, will update again if the wire harness solved my issue.
