Page 3-7 in owner’s manual noted that to switch off power sliding door (manual operation to be exact) when washing, waxing, or maintaining your vehicle, placing or replacing body cover, or splashing water to the area around the hands-free sensor.[attachmentid=9937919]

I recalled he said he already check this button (right side of the steering wheel), and it is still not working

What I am saying is that c27 owner should switch off the power door and turn to manual operation whenever sending to car wash. There is a note on user manual on page 3-7 stated to do so. This is to prevent damage to hands-free sensor.

Ok, thanks

if dim few hours then memang got problem..  blush.gif

common LED only dim like less than 1min  hmm.gif

I have checked my car, as you can see from attached picture (the light on the right side is a reflection from the moon), the LED light at the back (pointed) still dim a bit after few minutes (whereas the front and 2nd row already dark). I noticed the type of LED light for back row is actually different to front and 2nd row.

After 15min, it finally go dark.

LOL..no idea whether they use splitter or what  hmm.gif

i just know the USB works like that

Maybe not related to power supply, it could be related to the LED bulb, in my home certain LED brand is more noticeable on this dimming issue

Fog light...doesn't seem to go off on its on on the O position. Wondering if this is normal or I got a case here
*
I suggest you upload a picture of which light you are referring to, please note the daylight light for c27 is not the usual white color (maybe you are referring to this light, not fog light)

Is there a way to switch off the automatic turn on of the head unit when you start the car?

I dont think it has. You can only turn the screen off or mute it.
*
The reason for doing this is because of the usb music, I found every time when the head unit is not off properly, the songs in the usb will be hang (and missing songs) which means I have to physically unplug and plug in the usb again then the songs will be ok

Juat make sure u are out of the usb mode (i think).
I also have songs/video in usb, but always listen to radio.
When ON the car, radio auto ON...🤣🤣
*
I have tried this way as well (switch to radio before I off the car), the songs are still missing after on off of the car, I suspect the head unit is not properly shutdown when we off the car engine, I found same issue with mp4 in usb (I also tried with different usb, it is not due to faulty usb)

i tried video player using both usb and miracast.
the mounted external display can only be used when using usb, it doesn't work for miracast.
is this normal?
*
Unfortunately that is correct, the additional screen only works on usb, that makes it totally useless

How to store this seat belt, A or B (or other way)?

For A, the problem is (as pointed) it doesn't clicked nicely in the slot

For B, the problem is (as pointed) it is hanging (not go into the slot)

This is one of the inherent problems you will face with Head Unit.
It has been 3 months already and I dun expect them to upgrade the HU to support Android Auto any time soon.
Others are
1. the clock will gain a few minutes over time
2. Hang
3. Off / On during hybrid operation.

I already emailed clarion Malaysia, he assured me the hu is Android Auto compliance, but it is not available now because the apps is not yet official in Malaysia

You dun need an email for that cos it was already advertised in the Serena C27 brochure as Android Auto compliance.
What you really need is a committed date for the app to be in your HU.
*
Is this date defined by Android Auto apps company or Clarion company? The problem is the apps is already installed in our phone but clarion HU doesn't work

Hi, bktee

the date is defined by Android company.. not Clarion. Service has yet to launch in Msia, hence any HU brand distributed by official distributor wont be having this Android Auto available in their product unless u get those from 3rd party which restriction has been bypassed. You may verify my statement with other HU brand official distributor or authorized dealer..

Anyway, someone just wanna stir shit out of nothing  innocent.gif  inherent problem my head  laugh.gif

Don't think so, CBU car don't have issue with Android Auto. Are you iPhone user? Because the HU is really troublesome for Android users.

am iphone and android user..  icon_rolleyes.gif
btw, came across this from Android Auto official page
https://www.android.com/auto/nissan/    <<only in US

also i have the android auto app, mayb u want to give a try? PM me..  wink.gif

No, CBU of other cars. I already have Android Auto installed in my Android phone but no use because the c27 hu cannot function (this is the whole issue we have with Clarion, not Android Auto). So now, the hu only function as radio, I don't think you can call that we purposely kicking a fuss

For now Android Auto only can be install on our phone via unofficial way -> APK side load or geo-location playstore.
C27 is a CKD, not CBU
some CBU supported Android Auto as it's imported directly from overseas.  the HU already using the firmware of the origin country that already has the support for Android Auto.
On the side note, the Clarion HU on C27 might not be having problem, but I suspect the "inherent" problem of it auto restarts during engine auto start/off lies with the wiring of the HU to the C27
as there are owner found out the power of the HU are drawn from the wiper instead of the ACC, and according to the simple survey in the C27 owner group, more than half of the C27 owner experience it, me included.
Some owners disable the auto start/off feature, and they may never encounter such issue, so the total number of cases could be higher.
So I can safely categorize it as an "inherent" problem, and TC Nissan need to solve it among other issues as well.

On Android Auto, cars I know of without having to unofficially unlocking it, Mazda CX5 and Ford Ranger
