So RM8,300 (GST rebate) is under DP..

meaning RM14,750 minus RM8,300, so DP just need to pay RM6,450, in record, it will stated RM14,750 for DP.

Unless u throw in RM30k for DP, then top up RM8,300, then RM38,300... (bad example la)

should be end month.. no choice o, suddenly this GST abolish then SST might be coming, now whole world also chaos

My case

Price remain = RM147,500

Include insurance - 55% NCD = OTR RM149,444.72

Loan RM120k for 9 years @ 2.55% = RM1366/month

DP = RM29,444.72 - RM8300 (GST Rebate) - RM144.72 (from SA itself)

Total DP = RM21,000 (including RM1000 deposit)

But SA told me need to register within this month. You guys want to wait or register this month ?

If u wait for SST to come, then car price change again higher

now best period to purchase car is in between after GST abolish(which now all car make already removed GST) and before SST implement

Nice add on vs C26, for eg. 6 airbags, nicer dashboard design including the digital panel, better HU, 3rd row now can slide (previous was fixed), rear door now with better / flexible dual open function, i myself this is great, leg activation for opening of door, to name a few. So tempted to sell my C26

I preferred the cheaper variant as the expensive variant not worth it in my personal opinion.

Per SA, if register this month, can rebate that 6% and deduct direct from DP. If next month, then using new price but higher DP (due to no direct 6% rebate). No different if getting loan < 90
% as eventually the price is the same.

This small tax free (GST) window really benefits those whom are planning to get a car. I heart sick (for paying more) but that's life, we can't win all the time.

Just did my booking for non-premium spec . Test drive it and the pickup is fine and interior practical for family usage, it's my first mpv though. SA told next end of the month only can take the car , demand > supply.

My SA called me again, so he will proceed with the existing loan and gst rebate will be used as DP. I am getting the 5 years warranty and 3 years service with 5k plus DP top up.

Tomorrow going to sign the papers and make the DP.... Finally all settled.. just wait for the car after this...

Had a small argument with my SA. Gst rebate is like compulsory, else they will have no sale this month

But why they remove the coating? We paid booking based on what has been advertised

So do you guys thing is it worth to fight for it? At least more rebate?

worth fighting yes.. but my SA justified by saying they removed 2k from the actual estimated price.... when he justified that way, i can't say anything else....

What does it mean by removed 2k from eatimate price?

Is the estimate price RM150K?

the estimated price was 155k, from 155k it becamse 153k.... that was his justification, but the actual price is 147 when it came out recently... which i believe it doesn't include the coating anymore.


anyway, i was just looking at the Japan's unit... i understand alot was omitted for malaysian model but why the electronic parking brake was removed as well... huhuhu... the foot brake feels like a back ward choice... they already cut the pro pilot and the magic seat... also i notice 3rd row doesn't have trays... because ours come with pilot seat and can't accommodate trays?? hahahahah funny
