see the parts import from japan is how much, those are only needed to pay 10% for SST..
if the parts cost 100K, the tax will be 10K
but currently the GST is only RM8700... so i believe will slightly increase once implemented SST...

hope there will be a gap between GST and SST, and TC will drop in price during that time, i'm sure it will be selling faster.. and i would not mind if i can pay deposit first, lock the price and get the car like 3 - 4 months later haha

I received message from my SA that there is a scheme "Price Protection Promise" will protect u if the price is increased after new tax implementation, you will not be impacted and asked to pay for higher price.

However, if the new price is lower after new tax implementation, you will be compensated equivalent to the price reduction.

This is from my Nissan SA. I guess this not fake news.

Ya...my SA told me about this verbally. I requested him provide me a black & white....he need to discuss with branch manager tomorrow. I am holding my down payment transfer now.

it didn't mention the compensation will be in the form of Cash, Cheque or "Service Voucher".....

As far as i know TCM top management just verbally mentioned in the C27 launch press con.. but no black n white issued yet.

Hence, what SA said might be true BUT my advise is wait for TCM official statement..

The price protection promise by TC was issued before the GST 0% was mentioned. The promise specifically mention about the switch from 6% GST to SST, but the situation now is 0% GST and without SST (for time being), this latest one TC yet to say anything.

I asked my SA and he said TC HQ is working on this.... New vehicles registration temporary put on hold.

I am putting my c27 registration on hold until new price is out.....

toyota ,VW and Proton start rebate/discount .... i think nissan will do something too instead the price protection scheme

nissan no longer introduce price protection scheme seems there is no official statement from TCM up to date

I have been pressuring my SA on the new Serena pricing after the GST 0% yesterday. Today, she informed that ETCM had informed that the new price of Serena (Premium model) will be lesser by RM8,300.
