i m still 50 50 , undecided. to me:

Estima

Pro
1. durable, higly recommended by most of the foreman that i asked, still can see many 15 years old estima running on the road.
2. spare parts can be easily found, with different cost range for the highest of original toyota part, down to OEM and also 'kereta potong', so basically u can repair based on budget
3. certainly is 1 class higher than serena, in term of power and comfort

cons
1. buying a recond car is not as easy as buying a brand new car from local authorize dealer. visited few recond car dealer around pj, when buying a recond car, we need find a trust able dealer, need inspect the car carefully, and also feel like need play abit mind game with the car dealer, as if they know u very keen on the car, and they know their car is in very good condition, they might hold the price firmly or even jerk up the price.
Serena

pro
1. new car new design, wont be obsolete so fast.
2. buying process is easier, dont like this sales person can just go another showroom buy as their car are the same
3. free 3 years or 60k km service, which could easily save about RM2 to 3k

cons
1. CKD,seriously doubt the quality built by TCM, been hearing lots of problem with other models like almera and C26
*
Yes, i also heard from my colleague and foreman that Estima is really durable. So far my colleague only changed those wear and tear parts. The only complain from him was it depletes the engine oil faster than usual. His car is a 2007 car and is still in good condition. But too bad he scrapped his car coz he did not renew his COE in Singapore. So sayang..
But if u are planning to buy the Toyota Estima 2013, do take note of the airbag. I am afraid it using the defect Takata airbag inflator.
Hopefully all those quality issues in the C26 have been rectified in the new C27.

if based on media articles..140k is the silver colour which we saw in photo, and 150k is the 2-tone and top up with the 9/10 accessories..
about the diff bumper n no s-hybrid system, sounds like a low spec. But TCM never introduce also, now just purely SA did the talk..sometime SA's information bring me to holland, better depend myself  laugh.gif

I dont bother le, i already placed my booking for high spec, waiting to collect car on May  biggrin.gif

Wow....white/black 2 tone.... thumbsup.gif

Out of curiosity, what made you pick the high spec?

Not to condemn or anything but if it were me, I would have chosen the mid spec and spec it up outside. Coz, I don't think the items offered is worth the RM15000 premium over the mid spec. But this is just my own opinion la....no offence.

The only dual tone that looks good is white! The other dual tone color looks abit dull. Good choice! But white is really hard to maintain.

Yeah. They dont have my favourite blue black color so i dont care about the looks anymore. Therefore the 15 in rims are acceptable for me since the 16in rims should have the same diameter as the 15in. Currently interested in the mid spec with silver color coz easier to maintain.

at least is a 16" rim. I wonder how much extra money can TCM make per car for giving a 15"rim for mid spec instead of the old 16"rim shocking.gif shocking.gif
