From Paultan, they only mentioned two spec (Highway star  and Premium Highway Star). They also highlight price is <Rm140k and <Rm155k. So can i assume Highway star is <Rm140k and Premium Highway Star is <Rm155k? I am confuse coz Glenmarie showroom and another SA mention there is one more low spec called ICE spec.

Like some of u said, we should compared apple to apple which is Honda Stepwagon or Toyota Voxy but too bad we dont have it here. I believe wenloong78 is looking for a 7 seater big mpv which have captain seats in the middle row, two sliding doors, reliable (therefore Japanese car) and budget around Rm150k. Well, i am also looking for it too. But currently there is no CKD or CBU which fits all these criteria except for the Nissan Serena unless we select a common older Recon car which is the Toyota Estima. Its more like comparing new car vs old recon car with one level higher. But even comparing between this two cars is not that easy to make a decision.

Nissan Serena C27:
Pros:
-5 years warranty
-Safer because have ESC and 6 airbags
-Save fuel due to hybrid technology, lighter weight and smaller tyre size.
-Intelligent Around Monitor with Intelligent Moving Object Detection (i believe is 360 degree cam)
-Hands Free dual power sliding door
-Alternative small boot door
-3rd row can easily get out of the car due to power sliding door opening switch
-Built-in sunshades in 2nd row
-7 usb powered ports

<I did not mentioned cons of Nissan serena coz is mainly the opposite of Toyota Estima Pros.>

Toyota Estima 2013:
Pros:
-More powerful due to 2.4 engine.
-Stable in highspeed or cornering
-Spacious and comfortable especially in the third row (Can fit three adults)
-More reliable (so far only heard issues that it depletes the engine oil faster when the engine gets older)
-Third row probably can fold flat

Main Cons:
-No warranty
-least priority or maybe no support for product recalls (eg. Takata airbag, Kobe steel scandal)
-No VSC and have only 2 airbags
-5 years car
-More expensive

Due to no VSC and it is a 5 years car, i would select the Nissan Serena C27. But if u compare it with Toyata Estima 2016, i maybe would consider the Toyota Estima 2016 but the price would be even higher.

First rush me to test drive, then rush me to makan the food there... I was trying to look and appreciate the display unit...

Ya, there are some things still uncertain. I also need to test drive and bring my family to check if this car suits our needs. More importantly is can fit three car seats at the 2nd row and 3rd row.
There was one lady SA keep introducing the car features to me.  Due to i only have 15 minutes in the showroom and my daughter keep trying to wonder around, i keep telling the SA that i understand when she is trying explain the features. Actually i already did all the research. I just need to know how spacious is the car, tyre size, and pricing.

1. durable, higly recommended by most of the foreman that i asked, still can see many 15 years old estima running on the road.
2. spare parts can be easily found, with different cost range for the highest of original toyota part, down to OEM and also 'kereta potong', so basically u can repair based on budget
3. certainly is 1 class higher than serena, in term of power and comfort

cons
1. buying a recond car is not as easy as buying a brand new car from local authorize dealer. visited few recond car dealer around pj, when buying a recond car, we need find a trust able dealer, need inspect the car carefully, and also feel like need play abit mind game with the car dealer, as if they know u very keen on the car, and they know their car is in very good condition, they might hold the price firmly or even jerk up the price.

2. buying process is easier, dont like this sales person can just go another showroom buy as their car are the same 
3. free 3 years or 60k km service, which could easily save about RM2 to 3k

1. CKD,seriously doubt the quality built by TCM, been hearing lots of problem with other models like almera and C26

just a friendly advise, remember also to check the traffic record of recon car..there u might find out whether outstanding summons or these cars involved in accident before or such

i bought 1 used triton..and guess what, the hood is carbon fiber..and this dealer told me because the owner like to modify car so he changed it. But kns this car actually had an accident before on the front   

if can, buy used car, better is through the owner

if based on media articles..140k is the silver colour which we saw in photo, and 150k is the 2-tone and top up with the 9/10 accessories..
about the diff bumper n no s-hybrid system, sounds like a low spec. But TCM never introduce also, now just purely SA did the talk..sometime SA's information bring me to holland, better depend myself
