i heard for C27 malaysia version, no more movable arm console, 2nd role fix to become 2 seater like captain seat with own arm rest...anyone can confirm?

Wtf.. That's a huge minus for me. I guess need to wait for the official release then can know..

check with few different branch of nissan agents, all say the same thing..C27 will be 7 seater, no longer 8 seater...

huge minus for me as well.......this moveable arm console is quite signarue design for nissan serena, don undertsand why malaysia do not provide this design for c27...

if c27 really only launch with 7 seater option, then i will pas this and look for other option...

Sure or not? The 7 seater version is the Nissan Serena e-power version. Although, there is mention that e-power engines will be made available here but I don't think is so soon.

yup..if there is captain seats at 2nd row, the center console needs to remove. Because the captain seats come with armrest. Hence, if the center console is there, you wont able to lift up the console to be a spare seat.

I prefer captain seat so can use for biz purpose, bring my partners around LOL..those with kids, they will run from 3rd row to the front

U can called and ask the nissan sales agents, i called 3 branches they all tell me the same thing, 2nd row will be 2 captain seats with own arm rest, wont able convert to 3 seats. So c27 will be 7 seater only.

Don understand why TCM wan to remove this option, this is one of the very unique selling point for serena...

In my opinion, the captain seats make the car more classy....lol

but i like the mobile armrest/console, hope TC could remain it and make it fix at front role as extra storage compartment 2nd as captain seats with individual armrest .....greedy.....hahaha

Reminds me of UMW suddenly removing VSC on their Toyota camry. In the end, sales drop significantly.

Ya agree.....wish to get a spacious8 seater and this serena is my first choice, but with the new c27 become only 7 seater...will give it a pass...

Removing the VSC will cut them one star away from 5 star rating under ASEAN NCAP regardless how good the car is.

Customers are now wiser, unlike in the old days where they just look at the brand.

me too.. i like that flexibility.. one of the main selling point at least for me... if no more.. really havr to reconsider..
