Hello I want to organize a dota 2 competition in subang jaya

This is for a final year project for my mass communication course to organize an event.

Assuming you have a team of 5 what would be a prize pool money you would be interested in?

Here is what I am proposing:

1st place rm 2000
2nd place rm 600
3rd place rm 200

registration fee rm 50 (10 per person)

u should target how many participant can enter the tournament, from there u decide ur prize pool. make it equal. ur current propose prize pool is imbalance. lets say u have rm 1000 (50 fee x 20 participant). if u wan to gain profit a little bit then (9/10 from the prize pool u divide equally. first prize get 5/10, 2nd prize 2.5/10, 3rd prize 1.5/10 (example). if u dun want profit then its ok. make sure u make it interesting, otherwise no ppl will come.

For a school project I don't believe you have to go that high, maybe rm500 for 1st place is consider ok already, and lower the registration fee.

There's even an option to request for sponsorships or make it a 100% charity event to attract more people.
