I fully agree with you on the terrible habit of road hogging. However, MB driver do road hog, but there are many many other car that road hog, it is the DRIVER, not the car variant! I travel 30k km per year since 1991 as I am in sales line, I have seen all type of crazily fast or crazily slow driver in overtaking lane. Usually road hogger in PLUS highway will think that driving at 110km/hr will entitled them to "stay" the whole length of the highway, they will not even give way even if u put on your right signal/Flashing (which I reluctantly tried as last resort)/honing! So, I have grown to just accept these selfish/ignorant driver because you just can't get rid of them once you hit the road. So, try to look for space to overtake from the left lor. BTW, my ride is MB C270 CDI, my motto: if you drive faster than me, then you deserve to overtake me anytime, I'll give way before you hit the brake! Or else, I will speed much faster away from you in order not to slow you down.
