QUOTE(Kiddzx @ Mar 30 2016, 10:33 PM) hey all sifu , kindly give me some advise , just want to buy A250 , dilemma in term of the new facelift or the recon ? i would be happy if someone can let me know what are the different Main Difference A250 FL AMG-Tuned suspension More expensive at RM238,888 but come with 4 Years warranty New Style (Check the Front and Rear Bumper) Newly designed rear lights and the exhaust pipes have been integrated in the rear bumper. Same performance compare with the Pre-FL In Short, Pay more and you get new look (perhaps better or not, in one own opinion) Brand New. Warranty Issue. Driving experience should be the same, just interior have some slight changes. So depend on the prices of Recon, its worth considering |

QUOTE(westlife @ Apr 8 2016, 10:01 PM) Depend on what you prefer, a Compact SUV (GLA200) or a Sport Compact (A200)They are very similar to one another, in terms of performance and spec sheet. As for driving pleasure, i personally feel that A200 feel like a sport car (easy maneuver soft handling) and very much suitable for youngster (like me, cause look very yeng) GLA wise, personally i felt its more comfy compare to A200. But the "sport feel" handling and maneuver is not as good as the A200. more suitable for small size family.. Anyway test drive both that would be the best answer |

QUOTE(westlife @ Apr 9 2016, 03:11 PM) ic. thanks a lot for ur sharing. Hmm, you could say "bumpy" if comparing A200 and GLA 200. Do note also depending on the road condition as it might play a part. i had read up that A class comes with sport suspension which it is very bumpy while GLA one is comfort. Is the bumpiness of the A class a bit concern to make it uncomfortable for driving? Besides, i noticed B class the price is very close to A class, will it make a better alternative since it is a bigger car? Sport suspension could say that handling stiffer so its good for performance but not as comfy. it improve steering response, handling in corners and road feel. More control and more fun while driving. But all in all i am sure it wont never make the A200 uncomfy for driving.. B Class is like a compact MPV car, very different concept. QUOTE(bat11 @ Apr 12 2016, 03:37 PM) Wow... Good Input on A200. Actually I also looking for A200 now. Thus, start doing survey... Anybody have any input? Most probably I will get a 2nd hand at 2013 to 2014 A200. If you been driving a SUV, and you sudden switch to A Class.. i think you will definitely feel the difference. Hopefully won't be too bad to you, anyway most would feel it's only some slight bumpy along city. I thought the bumpy ride only applicable for A250 due to the sport suspension. For A200 is ok? Anyway, will go and test drive. For GLA, I think this car is cool... but not so sporty. Unfortunately, I already own a SUV, thus, prefer to get a compact sports... I just "received" a A250 2013 Priced around 170K if you keen, can PM for more details |

QUOTE(putramon @ May 9 2016, 12:37 PM) Nope, W205 Gearbox don't have much issues (or any complaints from customer)Hmm the W213 is coming, so most W212 value will drop. At current Local Market, W212 2014 E-Class (Pre-Owned) selling at 245,888 so you can use this benchmark as a comparison. |

QUOTE(putramon @ May 9 2016, 12:17 PM) hi all MB owners. May i know what are the pro and cons for c200 new vs recond e250 (2014 imported)? The Distronic + (base on my own experience) its a plus point but not a must to have.. I've tried it once, and imagine the car is controlling by itself (I meant steering wheel) I feel scared... LoL so I cancel the Distronic+ and use normal driving instead. For imported e250, some of them built in with distronic+, lane /blindspot assist features which local assembly dont have it. Are those features good or just an extra headache for owners? The feature looks cool when cruising on highways and it will auto distance itself against the car infront of you.. The Active Blind Spot Assist, is very good feature.. Can really prevent dangerous overtaking of cars. At the end of the day, I still feel the pricing for imported e250 |

QUOTE(Dcwh94 @ May 10 2016, 10:01 PM) Any sifu here can advice on the 2016 c200 coupe against the a45 amg and the bmw3 series? The back of the c coupe looks too good to pass on. The problem here is with the c200 coupe being priced at almost 400k so not sure if it's worth it. And this will be my first mercs so I don't have any experience with this. Currently just driving a golf mk6. C200 coupe price around 300KYa, the look is way too attractive.. But specification wise not as good.. As for C coupe launching this mid-month, just book a test drive and feel it |

Cycle & Carriage now offer Guarantee Value Protection for selected model.
Basically very summaries example : Brought an A Class - RM205,000 1st Year Insurance Agreed Value - RM205,000 2nd Year Insurance Agreed Value - RM180,000 3rd Year Insurance Agreed Value - RM150,000 Assuming, your car is stolen/total loss during the 3rd year of usage; Insurance will only pay back (or you can claim) RM150,000 (due to Agreed Value) So with GVP, C&C will top-up RM205,000 (Purchase Price) - RM150,000 (Insurance Claim) = RM55,000 to You =) One of the T&C, you must buy-back a Mercedes Vehicle from C&C |

QUOTE(19 Degree South @ Jun 7 2016, 08:58 PM) Why need to be so mafan? Most insurance companieze provide 'agreed value clause' up to 10 years! You can choose to insure your purchased price even after 5 years! Just pay the premium only mah! The above that u listed is " market value clause'! It goes by years of depreciation value! Bery subjective this one! Sorry, maybe my English is not good enough. That make you misunderstood. I am just stating a example for easy calculation purpose. Yes, you can insured base on purchase price for many years, they would be happy if you insist, not an issue for them. But if say eg. The Car is already 3 years old and it has been stolen. Now, with the Insurnace cover which you had purchase the premium at car purchased price. Do you think Insurance will pay you the Claim amount at Car Purchased Price? From my knowledge I could be wrong, please correct me if I am at wrong. Well they won't, they would only pay you base on market value of your car. Cause the Insurnace you brought at Purchased Price is not agreed value. I trying to say is, GVP will top up the Difference between Original Car price and the Insurnace claim.
