Equipped with a now understated and classy bodykit which shocked the world back when it was released in the 80's (back then a rear wing that large on a three-pointed star apparently spelled impending doom!), the 190E 2.3 Cosworth is one of Germany's finest creations.

A little known tidbit - during production, the 190E's handling was tested, retested and tested again by none other than the late, great Ayrton Senna. Back then an unknown youngster, he would go on to win the first ever race on the revamped F1 Nürburgring track driving the 190E in a one-make race. Talk about pedigree.

Intended to rival the E30 M3's of the time, Mercedes enlisted Cosworth to bring to life an engine capable of pushing the 190E all the way. Along with innumerable other improvements vehicle-wide, the 2.3 Cosworth cemented its reputation as one of the best handling and performing cars of its time.
