And even with subtitles, there's always a few dumbass jungle bunnies loudly asking their friend to explain what's going on in the movie. Happy torrenting, TS!

Hate subtitles. How do you watch and read at the same time?

its hard because in malaysia  you grow up reading subtitles...

your brain not used to hearing and processing the dialogues...

try few times ,  it will be frustrating ..later you will surprise yourself how your brain adapts and can understand the dialogues...

your england will also improve...

Depends la bro. Not everyone have good brains and ears like you.
Plus, what about people with hard of hearing and wearing hearing aid?
They want to watch movies too.

Some movies the audio mixing is so bad, can barely hear the actors mumbling example in Insterstellar.
And some movies/TV series use heavy accent like The Wire.
Try to understand the ghetto language used by Stringer Bell and Omar, sometimes you also scratch your head.

True that, but even in SG movies do not have English subs, only in Chinese.

I am one of those typical, need subtitle to really comprehend a movie. Perhaps, I have those kinna anticipation to learn while watching. Instead of getting the gist of the movie, I would tend to imbibe words by words, learning more vocabs that are not customary in Malaysia.

Funniest part is when there is no English subtitles for fictional language like Orc and alien. Can hear all the foreigners cursing in silence.
