Yeah. Set seems to be cheaper. Sell loose like that one la. Because few cars ppl dun want. And they use the popular car to cover the price of the set.

as a collector, you cannot win all the time..
There will be at times you need to sacrifice something to gain the other..
In some cases, buying a set for only to get 1 or 2 cars, and end up with the rest.. in this case sacrifice money..
Or you wait and hunt till you get the price you wanted.. in this case sacrifice time..
or you can trade it off with something of the other person like.. in this case, sacrificing other collections..

so it is up to the person to be which type of collector..
for my case, I am a cheap skate low budget collector..
I will wait till I get the best price..
Its all about collecting, it was never a race to begin with..
and so far, I do manage to get my friends retails price for JH1, JH2, Modern Classic, Cars and Donuts, and currently the Honda Series..
But as usual la.. retails price sure sold out.. and I am already sold out..

Coz that day i was looking for Garage 2011 VW Squareback Black in evilbay.. 10 dollars only, but cheapskate punya pasal i waited so can try bargain, then sold out, now menyesal. Then got second chance, but this time in lot, i dont need the other 3 cars, so tried the best offer, seller never respond, woke up today, its sold. Now nowhere to be found. Pains and reality of a collector, at least for me.
