Total of 7 existing and new development in Tmn Desa, Bkt & Danau Desa with an addition of more than 5k units in the next 4-5yrs. Saw some banners opposing to this new development along the main road Jln Desa Bakti exit to Salak Highway. Just can't imagine how's the traffic at the main entrance and commercial lots in this area after the completion of these projects 🤔

Still okay. Go check along Jalan Sentul Pasar. Easily 10k units along that 1km stretch.

Wrong comparison bro. Jln Sentul Pasar vs OKR, Tmn Desa just a small tiny housing area.

It's good for existing residents as new properties priced higher, existing old house price will not drop especially landed house.
Speaking of traffic jam, which part in KL/PJ free of jam, right ?

Irregardless new properties price are higher or not, existing properties price are skyrocketing over the years. Dont really see any benefit from these new developments. Unless its a mix development or adding new infrastructure.

IMO over development in tmn desa/okr is nothing compared to jln kepong/sentul pasar

Infra wise, tmn desa has okr, east-west link, npe, and NSE.

Nevertheless from resident pov nobody like new development in their area but with all mature area, undeveloped empty land is like gold and eventually someone will manage to get approval to develop it..

Except from the land acquired by AK (Desa Waterpark) just look how compact for each development site , squeezing a block or two at every corner.. obviously if there r more empty lands then the amount will double up to 10k units or more.. 😰😰

Good only if they do it properly. If not, they may end up destroying d prop values...

Typically Malaysia...

Cannot see any empty land plot.. Must build something & make $$$ from it shakehead.gif

Then infrastructure cannot cope with it, flooding & traffic jams
