For example 6k for iphone, 6k/24 = 250 per month.. Do we need to subscribe for Maxis line?

Then it will be more expensive, we are paying for RPP and do EPP to convert 24 months + line contract per month. If we are buying with Digi, they subsidies a lil of RPP amount, then we will pay for device price, the remaining 24 months = digi line contract price only.

X is the best phone right now in the market. Once you go for Apple, you won't go back to Android. If budget allows, of course iPhone X definitely the choice.

I am one of the Apple user iphone 7, and i jump back to Android J7 Prime as i sold my iphone 7 in good price. I feel my phone is laggy as well as my friend using S8 is complaining too. Hence, I am getting iphone X or maybe iphone 8+(bigger battery life). Few of my friends using iphone 7 is also impressed with the battery and performance, they said, iphone really is the best phone currently.

I purchased my iphone 8+ 64gb at a super cheap price, if i want to consider for iphone x, i will sell of my iphone 8+ at marked up price to earn some. I will probably get it from Telco, as they subsidize the phone price and will use ther plan for 2 years. Otherwise, if i get discount code which make the phone lower price, i will just purchase it from Qoo10 or Lazada. It totally depends on how much you want to pay for your first payment.

No idea. But as my understanding, you need to fulfill the contract only you can go for new phone. Otherwise, you may request telco to waive for you if you have few months contract left. As for your case, you are new to contract, highly likely they won't waive for you. Suggest you to buy in full price/ 0% interest without getting for telco plan if you don't use that much.

Apple Malaysia is not doing pre-order. However iPhone X up for sale on 24th. Telco will do pre-order for tomorrow.

Suggest you to port your number first. If successful, then only sign phone from telco. Otherwise, you still need to wait until your number successfully mnp only can get new phone.
