If anyone is at Maxis Sunway Pyramid please update. I want to go when the crowd clears a bit. Need to take a quick break from work and get the phone. Too impatient to wait till the evening haha.

Managed to collect from Maxis Sunway Pyramid in less than 15 mins. Around 10 am. But crowd was coming in after that. They said they were open since 8 am though

Hey guys I just set up and updated the phone to iOS 11.2. As far as I know this is the update that enables charging at 7.5W. How do we know that it is charging at 7.5W and not 5W?

Also lets say we buy a fast charger that is capable of 10W. What kind of wall charger do we need?

2.1A 5V = 10.5W
2.4A 5V = 12W (like the iPad charger)
QC 2.0 = 5V/2A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A

If anyone knows about this please let me know. Because I want to buy a fast charger and a wall plug and dont wanna waste the iPad chargers that I have.

I bought 4 total all from Taobao with known china brand. Baseus, Rock and Torras. Have been using Basues and Rock since 3 weeks ago, so far so good. Shopee does sell Basues that can stand charge and round charger I use this on my working desk, can charge efficiently. Make sure u choose the output with 9V/1.1A not use 5V/1A.

Hey bro, what do you mean by 9V/1.1A? for fast charging at 7.5W? after 11.2 update?

What kind of wall charger did you pair to your wireless charger? the iPad charger? 12W?

This is the official reply from Apple https://support.apple.com/en-my/HT208137 ....in short, you need to get an adapter that supports USB Power Delivery. It has to be USB-C capable charger. QuickCharge 2.0 is not compatible for fast charge.
*
Bro,
there are two separate things there

1. Fast wireless charging: iPhone is going to be capable to charge at 7.5W, can use fast wireless charges that are rated up to 10W. but I want to confirm if the iPad charger can work for that. (if anyone here knows), because some places it says we need to get QC 2.0 for that.

2. Fast Charging Via Lightning: Power Delivery (PD) at 29W is for wired fast charging: with USB C to lightning cable. Not wireless fast charging

Day 2 with the phone. Super smooth. No regrets. Definitely a big jump from the iPhone 8. Which I gave to my wife. Haha.

Those who bought the phone opted for which colour?

Silver. Got tired of the space grey from the other phones. The white back is great and the stainless steels side match the Apple Watch stainless steel. The white back is a refreshing change. Also if there are micro hairline scratches on the stainless steel it can be polished off easily. Get the cape cod polishing cloth, works great. Attached Image

Look for sakurazz on LYN. He installed the HODA standard one for me. It is full glass without the black silicone around it.

Apple’s gestures take a few hours to ge used to. But to be honest I just tried to swipe up on my wife’s iPhone 8. Haha. So I guess the gestures feel normal and natural now. And I don’t even realize the home button is missing.

Yes it is Hoda.

Another thing, it is so clear you can see dusts/hairline scratches on your stainless steel band through the case lol

Bro does this case give the bubble at the back? watermark? Some of these clear cases give that. i am using SGP ultra hybrid, but its a bit bulky.

Thats the main thing I was checking when I bought the clear case: so far the SGP ultra hybrid does not have this problem. The ringke fusion on my wife's iPhone 8 had the issue so had to get the SGP ultra hybrid 2 for the iPhone 8. So far no bubbles. But the ultra hybrid is a bit bulky.

One more question: does anyone here know about the whole burn in problem with iPhone X? I mean no reported cases yet, but I am really afraid to use waze. What are your opinions on this? 1/2 an hour? 1 hour? reduce brightness?

my practice is check the route to find out recommended directions.. then i will turn it off already.. that's how i preserve the battery haha!

the phone will heat up after using waze for a long period of time and it definitely damage the battery in long run.

Hey bro not worried about the battery. I am talking about OLED burn in. So if we run GPS for a long time there can be screen burn in. Anyone has any opinions on how long we can run GPS without burn in. Because there are static images on the screen with GPS.
