Are you existing Celcom customer? I don't want to pay RM 700 advance fee since I am already with them quite some time.

But Celcom portal doesn't offer thing like that, you need to walk in to Bluecube to waive the advance payment.

the downside of paying 700 is the GST. Since the GST is calculated after adding the upfront payment.

I also just bought the same phone and plan like yours. If paying additional rm42 for GST can save all the hassle, sumore able to save rm100 by using the discount code, why not, rite?

I bought 7plus last time, but the up-front was paid over 6 months. Every month will minus the bill.

Meaning for this one, on the first month of the bill, you will probably see -rm596. Then u no need to make payment until that -ve amount has been utilized.

In other words, the upfront payment is actually ur upfront payment for the bill

Nope...for Celcom, the RM700 is rebated back over 10 months, meaning RM70 rebate every month....RM98 - RM70 = RM28...GST based on RM28....which is why the RM700 upfront is charged GST first.
