HEIF/HEVC is the latest format so compatibility is going to be an issue. JPEG is still the best when used with 256GB lol. Whatever format doesn't matters when share on social media.

As for the protectors and cases, I don't really care for branded one as long as it can offer maximum protection for the phone. Not too pricey and too cheap .

Should I get 64gb or wait for 256gb restock? Do i really need 256gb>?

For now, I am aiming for space gray and 64GB, since 256GB are all sold out. Maybe if got stock then 256GB space gray.

I am using iphone 5s for almost 5 years and it's only 32GB and still have 1-2GB left lol. That's why I am considering 256GB . I plan to invest X for at least 5 years usage.

Well too bad 256GB all sold out for now. I am surprised many people bought 256GB over 64GB considering Iphone X itself already so expensive  .

Yes, I don't have much confidence in their sealing on their back lens. But they won't affect the pictures taken, so that is the positive side lol
