Trianium still my favourite among all the cases I have. Slim but not body hugging slim that it still gives some drop protection, crystal clear transparency and best of all NO company name/logo/etc.
Only downside is fingerprints lol

Another thing, it is so clear you can see dusts/hairline scratches on your stainless steel band through the case lol

Haha you'll be surprised, even if you didn't do anything mysterious hairlines will appear for no reason

Oh damn... now that you mentioned it... I saw a few dusts in the lens as well after using torchlight in a darkroom... it is hard to see without using a torchlight

No, perfectly clear except for the micro dot pattern which you won't notice unless you tilt under the light.


I have a feeling most iPhone Xs will have at least a dust under the lens... seems the QC in that area isn't that great

Yes, I don't have much confidence in their sealing on their back lens. But they won't affect the pictures taken, so that is the positive side lol

Have you checked your 8+ lens under the torchlight as well? lol

It is stronger than iPhone's screen glass, but still below pure sapphire glass though.

Hahah I went back home and did a second intensive scrutiny. This time I didn't see any dust! Maybe I was imagining things the 1st time around.

Ofc la no case lol. Even luxury polished stainless steel watches gets scratches easily, but surface scratch is easily fixed with repolishing. If yours was the Space grey PVD coated then GG la it’ll be there for life without any fixes

It's normal, there is also a small opening through the speaker hole not just from the top edge. Dusts got through mine making the sensor a bit dirty. I tried to get rid of it but countless times of stretching/pulling out the glass wore it down... had to throw away and use a temporary one I bought from amazon which only covers the screen view. Made me realise how much better looking the Hoda one was lol.
I'll need to buy back the Hoda one again
