fake cd's and fake guitars are different... fake cd is just the same as ori cd's, only illegal...
fake guitars are just not the same as ori guitars, in terms of quality and sound..

LOL. Most of my original cassettes died too. Maybe they were using bad quality cassettes for recording.
Now the fakes are everywhere, how saddening.. Maybe in a few years time you'll see Gibson everywhere until you get sick of them.

QUOTE(blacktrix @ Sep 28 2007, 09:15 PM) I will have to check with the Admins to see if fake guitars, even advertised as a clone or fake, are allowed. this is quite critical and could set a precedent for 'replica' items. blacktrix, appreciate ur feedback for the benefit of others. anyway, to strengthen our case on possible banning action (subject to clarification on the above), I received the same PM from biglovebijou too.

have to resurrect this. i've never believed fake epiphones existed, until i saw this today at one utama. look at the black one. the purple one at the back is the glitter LP which is genuine. compare cutaway, knob positions and headstock logo the serial number also is EE03******* which means MIC 2003. didnt know they had MIC so early. the truss rod cover is also wrong, as that one is from 2004 onwards, but that can be changed. QUOTE(gapnap @ Dec 2 2007, 11:08 PM) and that SX has the most fvck up maple fingerboard i ever seen/play/feel in my life Are they really that bad? Maple fretboard in a non mahogany bodied Les Paul, shouldn't it be pretty interesting? Bad news on the Epis though. How much is that thing listed anyway? Listed the same price as though they're real Epis I suppose?
