I read that Fallout 3 is going to be released in Japan only at December, which makes me doubt that F3 will hit the shelves in Malaysia anytime soon. Can anybody confirm the release date for F3 in Malaysia?

IMO vampire's don't suit the game theme at all, i would have to agree that cannibals would be better.

I doubt mods will do much good, unless we can somehow change the entire F3 gameplay.

Although I'm a big fan of F1 and F2, I'm not really against Bathesda. You can't expect a studio that develops totally different games to "stick" to the gameplay Black Isle developed. I mean, sure it's gonna be different from F1 and 2 from most aspects but at least It's going to be good in it's on way.

I'll have to agree the NPC's voiceacting and animation is horrible. Gameplay looks okay though.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R's AI is awesome, wish the AI in F3 will be that good.

Holy crap after reading all that I've lost all hope on Fallout 3, looks like it IS going to be that bad.

Judging by the review they gave, I would say Fallout 3 is an epic failure

Well hopefully mods will be able to fix their fakaps like what they did with Oblivion, but even then I doubt that game will be any good.

I can already imagine a full VATS combat against a small group that'll last for 20 minutes or so.

Honestly if the combat system was good and the AI was good too i guess I would've probably enjoyed it despite it's "flaws".

However, after watching the latest gameplay trailer at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m_MV62Qqvc4 , I'm quite convinced that this game is gonna suck really really bad.

I would say no, not much at least. Gameplay's gonna be pretty much like any other FPS out there except that you have stats, perks and other customizable stuff.

That they did, well I'm going to get the "Lanun" copy of it, hopefully it will be better than what the previews, hopefully.

I'm just hoping that the combat gameplay is going to be good, that way I can still play the game like an FPS with RPG elements instead of the other way round.

There's one thing i noticed about the review they gave, they did not talk about the RPG elements of the game!

From the games you've listed, the only one that i find similiar to F3 is STALKER. GTA is totally different from F3, and the others as well.

Although I agree with you I'm starting to doubt it's failure. The reviews lately were mostly positive however they did not say anything about the RPG aspects of the game. So I'm thinking that It'll be a good FPS in it's on way, not sure about the RPG-ness of it though.

I'm guessing most Fallout 1/2 diehards will loathe this game to it's core. But I think that this game is going to be enjoyed overall by everyone else.
