LOL

It wasn't bad considering ambank carz had no real benefit once B1F1 was discontinued. I still got some 50k points in it. The only reason I'm still holding is that free annual fees for my wife supp card. She's not swiping at all.

Not all the banks use transaction posting date to calculate the rebate, instead they use "txn date posted/recorded in system". This is because when you buy something and if the merchant doesn't perform settlement at their card machine, your transaction wont posted into your account, and it is not the issuing bank responsibility to make sure merchant perform settlement on their machine. Anyway, if merchant doesn't settle, they don't get money also, thus, very rare that they don't settle. You can see some banks only credit rebate for this calendar month on next calendar month, so it manage to capture most of the transaction for last month. For example, UOB YOLO card.

For your case, i suggest you request AmBank to provide T&C for this card or this 3% rebate program. Under BNM credit card guideline, bank is required to provide adequate info for program they carry out, so that they don't mislead customer. With this T&C you then can know what is the requirement for this rebate, whether is calculated based on posting date or transaction date. For any change of T&C, if it is product feature, bank is require to give atleast 21 days notice, and if it is campaign T&C, bank is required to give atleast 5 days notice. They can't simply tell you that they have changed from txn date to posting date. This is why they will need to inform you that they have changed the requirement for the Plaza Premium Lounge.

I have search through the website and I couldn't find any details or T&C associated to this 3% rebate, probably I missed out.

If they can't provide you, you can always lodge complaint to BNM, it is bank responsibility to make sure all these available and accessible to its customer. Hope this helps.

Based on the T&C, rebate should be calculated based on calendar date posted into system. If you see your statement, there should be two date, one is posting date, another one is transaction date. The TnC abit confusing...coz it only mentioned purchase over the past calendar month, never mentioned based on posting date or txn date

Anyway, based on your transaction provided, total purchase until 21st May are RM219.50, which contribute to rebate of RM6.59 (3%).

Your rebate for transaction on 29th and 30th should be posted next month.

Based on this scenario, you just need to check if the posting date for transaction on 29th & 30th is in June. If yes, then it is based on transaction posting date ady.
