Hi, seeking some advice on some next steps for my tenant. I am currently renting out my house to this family, and while they have been paying the rental, but I noticed they have not been paying the utility bills on time. Realising my mistake, I started following up with them since last month on when they will also pay up their utility bills (it was around RM2000), which they said this month they will clear it off. Now come to October, they said they are unable to pay and can only do so by the following month - November. In this case, I agree that November is the date, but if they are unable to pay they have to move out. What do I need to do to get them to move out of the house? I have been sending SMS reminders and also registered letters to the house. What is my next step if they are unable to pay? Quite newbie on this, seeking some advice on how to go about. Thanks in advance

QUOTE(SMF97 @ Oct 29 2017, 12:00 AM) Easy, u should take utility deposit!(should done earlier) or put the elctricity account on their name(should done earlier) im not landlord, but i already renting a house for a while Hi SMF97, thanks for the advice. I would like to ask if put under their name for the electricity account; even on the day I evict them (and they move out willingly), but if they did not settle their bill (even the electricity bill under their name), I would have to wait till they clear their bill before I can reclaim my electricity account, no? Or else TnB would expect me to clear any outstanding before changing the name back. p/s: I did take utility deposit, but it's not enough to cover....
