QUOTE(zero721 @ Jan 18 2018, 12:19 AM) Hey guys. What is your available ram when you click on device maintenance - memory section? Mine showed system and apps used about 3gb. Is that considered normal? And I used antutu apps to verify my phone, it showed unknown at the website. How come??!! I bought from official Samsung authorised phone shop. And second day when I bought it sms aid warranty registered. Couldn't be fake phone right? Available ram is always less than 6. Background affects this. You're probably paranoid

QUOTE(zero721 @ Jan 18 2018, 08:36 AM) Then like this enough for our usage? Supposed to have 6gb ram as a beast phone. Now like only 2.5gb to use it. You have 6gb ram. You are using 6gb ram. It becomes 2.5gb or even lesser from the apps that you have installed. That means you are fully utilising the 6gb ram. No phone has the fully installed ram to be fully available wit apps installed

QUOTE(khainiz94 @ Jan 20 2018, 03:28 PM) Plus 2nd year warranty does not cover battery, buttons. Only typical hardware broken like motherboard, speaker etc. Pandai Samsung. BTW look at your Hoda already lift due to clean the sides made me afraid a bit to go with it. Because I’m kinda a bit of an OCD. Even a small speck of dust I need to rub it off. Takut lift like urs. Or maybe just go with Clear Coat? End of story. Whitestone dome has the same thing happen to it too. If you watch videos on youtube for the Whitestone dome, a lot of peoole mention that the TP lifts if the case is too tight. But you can still press it back to make it go back to normal. So the HODA lifting up due to Mafioso pushing it up, is honestly nothing to worry. Just dont push it up too much lol

QUOTE(xHj09 @ Feb 18 2018, 11:50 AM) Been using Instagram a lot lately , it keeps crashing. Anyone else experienced this issue? Instagram crashes a lot for any android phone. Facebook is horrible at optimising their apps. That is why the Facebook app has been proven to slow phones down. All they know is to keep adding features and making their apps heavy, but never optimising them. So if Instagram, Whatsapp and Facebook crashes a lot, dont mind it. It is the app, not the phone.

QUOTE(benny888 @ Feb 18 2018, 04:49 PM) Never had such crashes of WA n Instagram in all the Androids I had used Are you making a sweeping statement here ? I don't use Facebook n replace it with swipe for Facebook app . No crashes either Androids I had used since last year : v20, g6, v30, s8+, Mate9, 10, note fe, op3t, op5t etc Yes it probably is a generalised statement from my experience. Because from my experience even my friends' non samsung phones their instagram, whatsapp or facebook crashes a lot. But whatsapp of course the hardest to crash, just that it hangs a lot for me. If you're using 3rd oarty aoos then you're probably safe But my point is just that those are made by a company that doesnt really care about optimising their apps. So if they crash, I am not surprised

QUOTE(mfa682 @ Feb 18 2018, 05:25 PM) Sorry for not able to answer your question. Which part of the screen got burn in? Does it have anything to do with AOD? The built in device maintenance is already great, now they have cleanmaster built into the device too? Dang that sucks Nope not because of AOD. Seems like it is because of the Youtube app when in vertical mode, and also navigation bar. I dont even put the navigation bar to be always on 😪.

QUOTE(llk @ Feb 18 2018, 06:05 PM) Do u put your screen brightness to max? From users who experienced this problem usually they put the brightness to max No I use adaptive brightness. So it depends, could be because of multiple reasons. I just want to know Samsung Malaysia's policy on screen burn in though

QUOTE(Theoutspokenguy @ Feb 18 2018, 06:57 PM) seems like max brightness cause the burn in or turn on too long . I never use auto brightness. I set to manual. Yes could be. Could be for multiple reasons. I'm just wondering what is Samsung Malaysia's policy on it
