Not sure why they only posted this now since this issue already existed since the first day. Mine also has the similar issue, also at the bottom, 1 spot only, very tiny one. I couldn't notice it when I checked it on the spot during the purchase. The problem was found in 2nd day. I barely touched the phone on the first day. So no way it's caused by me. Definitely a manufacturing defect from Samsung.

Mind you that the screen itself is perfect. That cosmetic defect is on the very bottom of the phone, which will not affect the usage & functionally at all.

At first it did annoy me. I also planned to pay a visit to SC and see if there's any chance to fix this. But then after 2nd thought, my phone is running perfect, no hiccup, no nonsence issues. That little cosmetic defect (which hard to notice btw) does not worth for changing for another set which may have other issues. So I embraced it and now it doesn't bother me at all. In fact, I love my Note 8 even more now. I call it 缺陷美.

That would be a real nightmare. Luckily it was only a dream.

ya starting from note 5, earlier i did try custom roms, but it just doesnt feel stable

then since i tripped knox, i just run stock + root haha

but note 8 i plan to keep knox and utilize spay + other benefits (also no need worry about safetynet restricted apps after rooting)

i still prefer flat screen instead of curved screen

but then after using curved screen... its really a whole kind of different phone experience

but i wont rely on it and i can definitely go back to flat screen phones

its nice to have but it will not stray me away from flat screens haha

and the curved phones by samsung have to be use gently.. not for those who are on rough usage

You guys use immersive mode / full screen mode where the navigation bar at the bottom auto hide? I love how it looks as it maximises the whole screen and the bezels appear even slimmer. But the downside is that swiping up to bring up the navigation bar gets tiresome after a while. I try to go straight to home screen with pressure sensitive in the middle at the bottom but most apps use that area to launch new command or post new things. Lol. Also when I'm browsing using s pen, it won't be hard enough to trigger the pressure sensitive thing.
